Very helpful video, great tips for becoming a safe FL Operator. Please clear the Tip # 17, it's put all the viewers in a big confusion. The tip is perfect when an FL operator carrying a load on the forks, always keep forks uphill when travelling ( 《《《《 ----- 》》》》) with a load on a ramp. Please make part # 2 for your Tip # 17 with the title " Travelling On a Ramp without load on the Forks". Thanks ❤🇦🇪
The last part, you are supposed to get down from forklift from left side not from right side . your hand grip on left side not on your right side. You step of getting down doesn't followed the SOP.
Loaded forks always face uphill, unloaded forks face down. The final dismount was awful, should use the three points of contact and be facing the truck.
Good evening my name is Orlando Nathaniel please put me through about how i can get a forklift operator job i have been working as a forklift operator for over 10ysrs up till date . I want to experience working with a different company i am open for day and night shift as an added value thanks.
Great Video Mitsubishi. Some of my Opinion towards forklift safety is, Focus on the following aspects, *Internal Transportation route* 1.Adequate width 2. Avoidance of blind corners and reversing 3.Use of pedestrian crossings 4. Regular maintenance of roads 5.Separation of entry and exit *Forklift Driver* Make sure they are licensed, having medical fitness certificate, attended site induction training etc. *Forklift* With the Proper use of safety devices, speed governor, horn, flashing beacons, Falling object protection devices, ROPS etc. I Too have posted Safety Videos in my channel, if you like have a look into it. Thank you for your Contribution towards safety.
It depends ....reversing in 4x4 forklift you can (unloaded) either reverse or go in front ....but when loaded allways forks up the ramp .....we have jungheinrich forklofts and its fwd ...we cant go forward up the ramp ...wheels would spin off
Trying to teach us how to drive a fork lift safely..... with the forks a foot off the ground? Yeah i'll use my own common sense thanks. Also, towing or pushing other fork lifts is some times necessary if a truck runs out of battery/gas. I've had to do this myself a couple of times. It's perfectly safe if you drive slowly and have an experience fork lift operator on both trucks.
I hope no one was injured during the making of this video. Thank You!

Some fork lifts you can use either side but most are left side only.
The bit about the ramps is totally incorrect. ALWAYS travel with forks pointing down a ramp, unless loaded.
Agreed Veeta. Loaded always face uphill. Unloaded always face downhill. Also, never ever turn on a slope.
@@stephanklein9469
That's what I thought.
Full up empty down.
(Forks)
Correct, without load forks face downhill.
They corrected it in orientation
Yeah right. Untill the surface is uneven and you peel up a metre of concrete. No worrys
Loaded forks always face uphill, unloaded forks face down.

Yeahh I saw that in another video
What about the forks so high off the ground!!!
Thanks 🙏 for great 👍🏼 video
Interesting forklift training music 🎶 😂
What if you do get load up of ramp but you can't see your road properly? You can't turn but as well you shouldn'y drive without seeing your road.
Great video
Guys please for your own safety never ever place any part of your body outside the driver's compartment. unless you want to lose it of course.
Are driver compartments expensive to replace?
Thank you
Don't forget to charge or turn off propane after parking.
I literally watched another safety video where you should back up the ramp to get traction on driving wheels
When forklift is in park. Forks should be lowered plus have a slit tilt. So no one trip over fork blade. Thank you
Is it possible to turn 45 degrees on a ramp if done very slowly, 15 degree slope. With a load.
Never turn on a slope. Your center of gravity will be compromised thus causing the forklift to tilt over.
@@marionh8446
Correct. Our whole warehouse floor is sloping approx 4 degrees (ex Army depot) you can feel the C of G change when you turn on that!!!
Never take a risk to turn on a ramp.
It is. But it carries a deal
МОЖНО но 1 раз.

Lovely video. This helps
Yeah this is all you need. Just watch this and you will have common sense str8 away ready for wurk
"Do not eat spaghetti with your forks" he forgot that one

BUEN VIDEO
Is this correct? during unloaded do not reverse up on ramp?
It depends ....reversing in 4x4 forklift you can (unloaded) either reverse or go in front ....but when loaded allways forks up the ramp .....we have jungheinrich forklofts and its fwd ...we cant go forward up the ramp ...wheels would spin off
Why always emphasis extremily based on Fork lifts plz !!?
YOU ARE TAKING AWAY ALL THE FUN!

They forgot don't drive with your forks past ankle hight you could impale someone
i don't know why i'm laughing while watching this video
Bcoz u dont know how to driwe forklift. I m a forklift operator.this video is a good for safety for all of thame we have to follow rules.
It was funny because the actors where funny 😄 when showing what not to do
Mitsubishi Safety video from Forkwest
In every video they drive forks up in the sky,no need for that
That video is dead wrong about how to navigate ramps with empty forks. They are going to get somebody hurt by following their advise.
👍👍👍

Empty trucks forks should face downhill!!
3:34 😳
😃
Never use your body to cushion the forklift
Ohs
This is applicable only in lazy ass slow working factories :) ....we cant do half of "correct" things here
This is applicable only in safe workplaces :) ....we don't do half of "correct" things here
