Hello Carla: It is so sweet to see you again, I have had the feeling that I did not want to stitch for days at a time.\ Seeking help for depression is what I wish more people would do,
I congratulate you for doing so. I cannot imagine how much work it is to take in crops, I thank- farmers always for their dedication to supplying food for people and animals.
I love hearing about your Aunts travels, so very interesting, my Grandmother said that she and Grandfather would quote dunk bread or sweet rolls in coffee.

Loved seeing kitty, my son have suffered with depression since his was a teenager, and it is heartbreaking not being able to help, thank you for sharing your story, I am trying to bulbils up my floss collection , I have many DMC but not many others.

So sorry you're going through some of the same things! I hope you're getting the help you need. It's still a struggle but treatment does help most people.

We've always said "ant". I've noticed in come areas of the country that I've been in, they say "aunt or ont". Strange, isn't it? I always enjoy the journal readings. Fascinates me - especially their costs. penguin, daisy, ride

I have always suffered with depression and anxiety, and I just want to cry when I hear people say “ you just need to give yourself a shake and get on with it” words are easy when you have no idea how hard it is to just get up in the morning, love the yellow floss it is my favourite colour.

I grew up in Michigan and we always pronounced Aunt as "ant". And of course in The Wizard of Oz Dorothy said Aunty Em as in "anty".

Thanks for the flosstube! We have both a Yreka and a Eureka in northern California, so your great "ant" ;-) might have meant Yreka, which I have heard pronounced WHY-re-kah, but I don't live near either of them, so that could be a less common way to say it. penguin!

What is a dunk? She said she went to the store while the coffee was being made, she likely picked up some cookies, biscuits or bread to literally dunk while they chat. Thank you for sharing the journal. I wonder how your great aunt would feel to know that when she recorded her pennies spent, mountain views, and who drove that thousands would know of her decades later? I don't want it to end!! My aunt is gaunt.
