Before the age of TH-cam a friend of mine, who had internet at his home, dowloaded the video of this performance and shared it with me on a VCD. I can't even try to imagine how many times we watched this in a lightless room in Istanbul.
I'm so keen on these guys and my life relates to most events they triggered. It's impossible not to assess them as the best live band, owing to their skills and their everlasting passion about rock and alternative. It's lovely and commendable the way they keep blending rock with electronic music, which features an important and tough moment every artist is scared of. My life definitely changed as soon as I started delving into their wacky and groundbreaking career. Several songs got written whilst thinking of the world and of everyday actions, therefore you may not eschew giving a listen to their stuff even though you're not that addicted to this genre. I'd like to attend one of their outstanding gigs sooner or later, provided that they still convey that sheer vent of emotions and pride, something unbelievable and full of craziness. I acknowledge my utter madness for their outset and for their continuous effort to make everything sound personal and original like ever. I don't want you to blame this band for having taken inspiration from Radiohead at the beginning, it was reasonable to figure out what kind of music they wished to stick to and it was also a pity to dump a chunk of their abilities as they're getting too close to commercial styles: it might be enough whether you poke around and you notice the variation attained with their latest record. The 2nd law is probably an outrage towards their fondest fans and it's also a lack of dedication because their sound got aloof from the typical Muse sound while electronic music turns into emptiness and desolation. I mean I may be willing to spot a few elements you may get right but this album came off as an "unnatural selection" of the core elements of the band and it didn't suit my need to be cheered up on the usual way, beyond question!
wispina Believe me, its an easy riff, check my cover, I cant run on my room but If I could, I'd definetly be capable of playing it while running, its an easy riff for intermediate guitar players.
@@jamesprimavesi2392 Came here to say the same thing. Was pissing raining all through Ash and Muse and then it stopped as Dave took the stage. He looked up and said “not on my night motherfucker” and then went straight into All My Life. Absolutely insane weekend.
everything is fucking LOL in this video... Matt's hair, the faces he makes, his even-crazier-than-usual moves, dom is on the left side of the stage, chris looks like the fucking scooter guy just what the hell??? :D:D:D
God I cant think back that far xD Prodigy, Foo fighters,... oh and the Strokes headlined that year. Muse were only on their second album then. Reading is more a student festy so I haven't been since but it was a great line up that year!

22 years on and still magnificent
that pre-chorus drum fill by dom :o 1:15
burnbass I must have seen like 50 odd bands live, and he's comfortably the best drummer I've seen live, and he's gotten better since 2002!
Muse is an incredible band. Plug in baby will always be my favorite number song by them

+FikriAlfathan Easy riff

Lol. I watched this with it turned down all the way. To watch matt play, and it looked so funny. Hahaha
This mix is fucking perfect. Chris's bass has the weight it deserves, which can't be said for every recording.
We should definitely take some time to appreciate the mix tho, for real
