I fell well out of love with Muse; they were dynamic and creative and passionate and fun and angsty and brilliant and I LOVED them... for, like, two albums.
ME TOO! I've tried to get several friends into Muse, but they don't bite. Their loss. (They're old, but so am I, and I love 'em!!)
Considering how young they are and how inexperienced (at bigger gigs like this), Matt is a natural frontman. They amaze me at how good they all are at playing.

I personally don't think he acts in such a natural way on stage as he used to, but that's just my own opinion xddd
I think it also has to do with the type of stagea they perform on nowadays, the big stadiums with a huge crowd in the distance and mega lights shows don't seem to invite the same directness as gigs in places like these. I can imagine that creates for a more impersonal relationship with the crowd and that shows in the individual performance. It's all much more orchestrated.

Les vi en 2022 en Londres en su regreso después de la pandemia y nunca había visto a Matt tan enérgico. Estaba hiperactivo y no paraba de saltar de un lado a otro. En todo caso, es normal no tener la misma energía cada noche cuando tienes 45 años.

Bands and artists can and normally do write songs years before their initial release, sometimes they’ll play it live and sometimes they’ll wait for it to be perfected in the studio
