    Pro tip: Turmeric can help reduce inflammation. One study found that taking turmeric extract three times daily was comparable to taking a 1,200-milligram dose of ibuprofen daily. It also has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties, so def worth using on trail. Some people get stomach upsets from high amounts of turmeric though so test ahead of time.
    Drinking lots of water and taking a cold water dip also helps reduce inflammation and muscle recovery.

      Very interesting I will look into it. Yo to be honest I try to avoid Ibuprofen as much as possible, it's bad for the stomach and can have other side effects. I primarily carry it in case of an emergency.
