@@Earlgreeyy the finesse gear I have would not stand a chance against any decent sized jack. Skipping almost unweighted imposters is just a whole lot easier on the spin
@@dang.fishing Sorry should have asked yesterday what is that clear thing that you use to keep the plastic held up on the hook? Do you ever go the 4.25" imposters? Great video!
@@the_macs2.098 haven’t thrown the bigger prawns yet, but they’ll work very well hen the bigger prawns are throughout the systems! It’s a soft plastic lure stoppper to stop the prawn from sliding down the shank after a lot of skipping and catches! I get them from here: ontheedgelures.com.au/shop/soft-plastic-bait-stopper-25pk
Another cracka vid mate! Might have to give those imposters a crack next time i’m in the salt. What size hook / weight is that weedless set up? Also, how heavy is the braid & leader for the set up
That was such a sick session Dan! That Jack on landing was all time mate 👍
@@mylurebox it was very good timing!
The back hand cast to charge down followed by the back up cast was so sick Dan. 🔥🔥🔥
@@Castathon thanks mate! Plenty of practice with the prawn lately
Keep up the good work love watching your mangrove jack videos really hard to find knowledgeable fishermen that fish for mangrove jack. 😊
@@Byron-pu5uk thanks mate I appreciate it!
Nice one Dan, epic hit that one you missed!! And the one that took it as it landed 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
@@Off_The_Top_Fishing yea it was a pretty epic session! They were aggressive!

Great to see you back up the creeks going for Jacks again! What pound line and leader are you running?

@@dang.fishing Thanks bro. Might try 30lb cause id hate to lose a good one 😅
Why not use the BFS bait caster for the imposter?

Which system is this? Looks similar to when I went jack fishing in Agnes Waters
what wieght hook are you using on the imposter?

What's your weedless rig with those prawns?

@@dang.fishing simple as you just roll that lead wire around the hook?
@@dionhandford3492 yep absolutely 💯 just add more or less weight depending on the current and conditions and how deep you want to fish
