I think the third piece would have the circular rings if cut across. The first 2 would be difficult to get the same effect as the nodes are t8ny and scattered . Beautiful pieces for sure.
Curse you, Agate Dad! You've made me an agate ADDICT!
And now you've blown my mind with that spectacular stalactite. That last one is just..... wow....
The last one would make a spectacular butterfly 🦋. Wow, all of them are so intricately beautiful! First time watching. Amazing 🙂
Awe BEAUTIFUL beautiful 😍 pieces
I just love your reactions when you open rocks
When he responded your welcome daddy to you saying thank you buddy, that was so adorable!!
Love my little guy ❤️
He's probably still too young to get that daddy wasn't actually thanking him so that makes it even cuter
I got to be home a bit more so I am somewhat thankful.
@@AgateDad silver linings!😆
That's why I shared this video with some of my older friends. 😃
On a total side note I love that you don't curse! I love the 'oh my gosh' and 'wow'. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it! Family friendly!
Yeah it's pretty fuckin cool
That second one would make an amazing book end for your book shelf.
I never thought I would see stalactites cut, I thought they were protected. Wow! They are all so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
These ones are likely already fallen over, and not just cut out from the cave hopefully
We will never know, hopefully fallen over
Willful ignorance cushions the conscious wonderfully, doesn't it?
@@mjr7777 So does knowing that these are coming from Kokoweef Caverns *gold mine*, which has been mined for decades.
That last one is absolutely stunning!
All three were beautiful, but the last one was OVER the top! Cut, cut, cut!!!!
Right??
I agree!!
Love a floor like that.
OMG, that last one reminded me of a lobster on the outside, but when you cut it open, it reminded me of beautiful butterfly wings ❤❤❤.
Rock LOBSTAH!
It’s like holding time in your hands. So fantastic!
❤❤❤ your videos. Because of your son's beautiful response, this is by far my favorite video. Reminds me of my son helping me in the garage many, many years long before he was killed in Afghanistan. I'm still crying. Tears of joy. Thank you! 😻😻🤠
💔💜❤️
So sorry for your loss of your son. We are just not supposed to outlive our children.
😢
🙏 🫡 🤗
These are amazing! I must admit, I never thought about what might be inside a stalactite. Man, the beauty hidden inside is a real eye opener. I think the first two could have been cut a thousand ways and still be stunning, but that was definitely the perfect cut for the third. No question! Good luck with the pink eye - no fun! 💕💕
I have always wanted to cut some so I was very happy with how these went!
I gasped in awe when you opened the last one. It is absolutely gorgeous!!!
SPECTACULAR ! Thanks for sharing ! I just love how "tickled" you get when you open them. That giggle is contagious. I used to "catch" everything the kids got when mine were small, too.
Don’t like these as much as the agates & geodes, but i LIKE you, your attitude, & excitement. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us. Of these, the long one with all the lines- you love those.
Your reactions when you opened them up for a first look were so genuine and wholesome 😊❤
😊 thank you
These cuts were amazing. Looks like #3 cut gave you a lifetime amount of banding! Dream come true! ♥️👍♥️
This was a wonderful and different experience for me. Absolutely beautiful. And your son sounds like such a good and happy child.
He’s a great boy!
Absolutely stunning. Took my breath away repeatedly. More would be rad. Love these. Also knowing its from an old gold mine thats been mined for decades is good for the heart.
My jaw literally dropped when you revealed the 3rd specimen. They are all gorgeous, but that one is my favorite.
I had often wondered if they would be solid, now I know! Thanks! Our 18 year old son is going to college this fall to study geology / paleontology. He is a rock hound to the core, but his love is paleontology. We watch your videos together most of the time!
Last one was by far my favorite. Together it looks like a butterfly. Amazing 😍
This is like seeing creamer flowing through coffee. The waves are mesmerizing.
Yes, the last one was my favorite!
Beautiful! The long one is my favorite. So cool. I love rocks.
These are not rocks.
Touch these with unprotected hands and the oil will deteriorate them.
0:47 This looks like a popcorn ball with carmel corn on the inside. 😂
All were beautiful ❤ The last one was just amazing!!!!
Thank you for showing us their inside beauty.
Wow!!!! those are all special but the last one is the champion, thanks for showing!!! Anna
They have thier own unique beauty but number 3.....WOW !. More please
Not more please
Wow! The third one is definitely my favorite.
Wow these jewels would make some beautiful jewelry pieces!❤❤❤
Nice! That third one is absolutely beautiful!
I would love to see those polished. At least the wavy one. Incredible!
California native here! Glad you got these and cut them open.
They’re great!
I never expected the beauty in the first 2! So many rings everywhere
Did you really say "let you know!" Of course we wanna see, especially us that have been watching for EVER and binge watch. K, binge watching is me😂. That last one 😱🤯. Reminds me old before your time clothes, us old timers use to wear
I was without internet for a couple months and trying to catch up. Missed this one. These are beautiful!
Yes please, more!!! All three were awesome, the last one was beyond words. It took my breath. More please.
Love that last one! It was just perfect!
Dude there is nothing better than kids in a workshop. I was always intrigued by the tools and impressed by the things my father would make with them. I try to do the same for my own boys. 👍🏻
My favorite is the third cut piece. All of the are beautiful, but that third piece is incredible! ❤
The inside of stalagtites = the 8th wonder of the world !! Thank you !!
My favorite is the last one you cut! It's amazing 😍
Such a great piece!
That last one forms perfect butterfly wings! Stunning!
How gorgeous! I’ve never seen them being cut. I like the last one you cut the best.
Heck yeah! This stuff is so amazingly beautiful! Happy you're cutting in the sunshine again☀️🌤🤙
Same here, much needed!
So sorry that you have pink eye! May it be short-lived! ALL the stalactites were so beautiful! ❤
It’s much better now 😅
That long cut one is outstandingly beautiful 😮
I don’t know how I missed this issue. They are beautiful. That longer one that’s so different is gorgeous! ❤
Love the last one very cool
HOLY COW!! They are amazing!!!
Right?!
The last one looks like angel wings. It's beautiful😊 ❤
Yes, and I also see 2 seahorses!
Phenomenal the long 3rd one is beyond amazing. Putting them together they look like angel wings
🥰😅 I love how excited you get. 😅🥰
It’s too fun!
WOW, wow, wow, each one more beautiful then the one before. The last one, OMG wow. Yes pretty please, I would love to see more of them cut open. 💞💞💞
Number three is phenomenal!
Thank you for not saying :
"Oh my God ."
God bless you ! 👍🏻
Of course!! Same to you!
Very nice!!!
Wow! Just wow!
#3 is magnificent. Georgious. Unique.
I think my favorite one is #3. Only nature could possibly create such absolute beauty. I think you should sell half of each one…to me! I’d love to see more of these.
❤WOW❤ they are all beautiful x
They are all stunning but favorite, #3 blew me away, but I love # 1 and then #2. Fantabulous.
.Yes, post more.
What lovely pieces! It's so interesting to see all the banding, looking through the ages of the stalactite's growth!
That last obe is a stunner. WOW.
Absolutely do more stalactite cutting videos! Such stunning faces, loved this! I liked the second one with the faint colors, so pretty. The last was so different, so cool!
What, I thought this was some kind of meat.
Piece number three is my pick!
I never would have thought that would be inside stalactite.
Gorgeous stalactites ❤ And kids give us the most precious gifts lol 😂
OH MY! CAN I HAVE THE OTHER HALF OF THAT LAST PIECE PLS! ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been in quite a few caves in my 73 years. I have never been in one where removal of mites & tites was okay. To the contrary, it was always discouraged and seen as something akin to vandalism, with the thought being to leave the space unmolested for future visitors. I do enjoy your channel, but this was disappointing.
Thanks for sharing your opinion 🙌
I was thinking the same thing. They take so many hundreds of years to form, I am surprised that anyone is allowed to take them. Caves in Australia are protected for that very reason. Imagine if everyone took a piece when they went into a cave. It isn't like they regrow in a week. I love this channel, but not sure I like this video.
@@AgateDad I do realize that you bought this from somewhere and weren’t responsible for its removal. I worry that featuring them may lead to further destruction for the sake of a few dollars. But want you to understand, I really like and respect your work.
If we didn’t do things with the worry that someone may come along and do something wrong because of it, we wouldn’t do anything ever. I think they should be protected but I’m not going to live in fear of others choices. Thats on them and their free will.
Wow 3 was amazing
Definitely, the 3rd piece was my favorite.
I can't decide between the first and last cuts. Both made my eyes pop open with joy.
I bought two slabs of stalactite that looked very similar to your long stalactite. Since they were book matched, I decided to cut them down and make grip scales for my .45 automatic out of them. Once cut and polished they made great grips, and they are absolutely beautiful and unique.
Held together that 3rd one looks like a butterfly or moth. Beautiful
You are so good at assessing the pieces you have and deciding where to make the cut. They were all beautiful but the last one, I was actually holding my breath until you opened it up and it was wow! absolutely wow! My favorite? Last one! 👌
Your 3rd cut, WOW! I have visions of knife handle scales
Number 3 is my favorite hands down.
Wow, just unbelievable....gotta go with the third cut.....but all are stunning!
All are very pretty but that long one... WOW👏 ! It truly is spectacular!!
Congrats 👏 👏 👏 on such a wonderful job cutting it 👏 💖 .
You’re so adorable, sometimes your reactions to the revealing of the stones reminds me of the “complete double rainbow” guy 🌈 🌈 the way he laughs and cries at the beautiful wonder of it. 🤍 you really brighten everyone’s day. Thank you for being awesome
100%.
that is so amazing the way the pattern changes depending on whether you cut horizontally (#1 and #2) or vertically! (#3)
I love the cell/topography map look of the first two, but looove that almost 3d wave affect of the last one! All of them are amazing! Would love to see more of these!
Wow!Who would have known! Beautiful!😮
Love the last one!
Same!
They are all really cool. I like the 3rd one the most.
The last one for sure
The third one cut reminded me of Rapunzel. Enjoy your work and your laugh!
I was so surprised by the beauty ! I prefer number 3 but they are all gorgeous. Yes , keep doing these cuts. Polish , finish , and sell them . Enjoy . Namaste. Carpe Diem.
All are stunning. But 3 is my favorite ❤
SO TOTALLY WICKED NEAT!!! I was an OTR professional driver for 20 years, and have collected hundreds of rocks of all varieties, from every one of the contiguous 48 US states, plus coast-to-coast Canada. I have them displayed all over my hearth, but now, you have me wondering if I should take a chance, and cut them. Hmm. Decisions, decisions. 😊🙃
Nice job, especially on the last cut.👍 Each one is a prize in itself.
The long ones are by far my favorite ones, they are spectacular . Reminds me of petrified wood. Good job.
Very beautiful, love all the banded circles. Loving the colors.
Wavy gravy colors that was not expected on that last cut ❤ Good luck with the pink eye.
It’s much better now, thanks!
@@AgateDad awesome!
Those are the prettiest rocks you’ve cut to date!!!
Number one definitely. So delicate.
Beautiful. Last one looks like agate butterfly, my favorite. Great job, thanks for sharing.
My favorite is #3. All are pretty, but the third one is absolutely amazing 😻 😊
All of these are my favorites of all of your cutting videos I've watched!!!! SPECTACULAR! I'm so glad you got these and we could share in your happiness with them.
I bet you could make and sell jewelry out of this. I love all the colors, bands and layers that show up. The last one is Gorgeous!!! You could definitely sell this to jewelry makers. It is definitely as beautiful as many gem stones 😍
Truly gorgeous pieces! Wow I’ve never seen the inside of those! Beautiful!
