    In this tutorial, I've used the Soft Flex Exotic Blooms Beading Challenge Design Kit to make a wonderful pair of super easy earrings and a necklace!
    I couldn't wait to open the kit and unleash its creative potential. I opened the kit with my Jewel Box group (thestylemakersnetwork.com) in a Zoom call a few weeks ago. They loved the vibrant colours and intricate pieces. I fell in love instantly, especially with the beautiful shell focal. From delicate beads to stunning designs, I'll guide you through making a pair of earrings and a not-so-matching necklace inspired by the Soft Flex exotic blooms challenge kit and the wonderful coloured focal included. Let's infuse some floral magic into our jewellery collections together! 🌼

    Definitely the tassel. The silver above and below the flower ties it all together. And I agree on the darker pink. 😊

    Carol, those particular shades of pink and green are so beautiful together! The whole piece reminds me of tropical flowers, especially the focal. The necklace is stunning! I personally would love it as a choker. All the colors you chose are so pretty! Thanks.🤩❤

      Thank you so much! I didn't think of making a choker but that's not something I wear very often.

    Just gorgeous necklace!! I always get inspiration watching your videos. We have very similar tastes in our jewelry designs so I would make some variation of almost everything you make! I even have to laugh because when you are deciding on a couple different beads or colors or whatever to do, the one I think looks best is inevitably what you choose. 😊. Thank you for sharing these videos with us, I always smile when I see you posted a new one. ❤

    I was just about to comment that I would rather have used a longer piece of chain instead of multiple jump rings - and then you said the very thing! Still, think you should have done it. Less busy, and you could always used the shorter chain another time. In any case, the finished piece is bright and beautiful! ~ On another subject, I often wonder why I spend so much time messing with clasps. Not only do they take a lot of fussing to create, but my fingers have such a hard time handling them when I put the necklace on and take it off. Particularly lobster clasps. So, twice now I've made necklaces that slip over my head instead of using a clasp, and I really like it.

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you Deborah. As I said at the end of the video, I should have used longer chain. I only used the extra jump rings because my chain was too short and I needed more length. If I was to make it again, I would have used longer pieces. I already had these cut and like to use what I have.
      With regard to clasps, try using toggle clasps. They are easier to do up.

    What do you do with all your little leftover pieces of wire and chain, please?

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the leftover bits of chain as I did in this video - for sways. I usually use up my wire scraps unless they are too small. They are silver plated so can't be melted down.

    What type of metals do you use, please? Nickel-free, silver plate, sterling? Thank you.

      Do you mean the wire? I use half hard German style silver plated wire. You can find all of the supplies I used here: www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz/blogs/beading-projects/exotic-blooms-soft-flex-design-kit

    Hello Carol. I paid the fee for my membership in the private group. I completely forgot about it. Is there a calander that I can download for schedule lives?? Please accept my apology

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Lorena, no apologies needed. We all get busy. You are still a member of the group. You just need to go to the Style Makers Network and look at the livestream calendar. You can't download it because the times often change. Last month I took a vote on the best time for everyone. Also, the calendar inside the network shows the event in your time zone so you don't have to convert, etc. Go to the Style Makers Network using this link and then click Livestream on the left. thestylemakersnetwork.com/
      What you have missed is that I released the 30 Day Ignite Your Creativity Challenge. You were invited so you will have access to that also. The members have all been having lots of fun with this.
