- Greetings Helldivers! Have you been looking for an all-around loadout that you can use against both the Terminids and the Automatons? A lot of updates and changes have been pushed out since Patch 01.000.300, so I tested a whole bunch of different combinations and ended up with what I think is the most efficient loadout we currently have available.
It doesn't matter whether you're playing in the lower difficulties or all the way to Helldive-9, this thing will do nothing but serve maximum democracy every single time. Until big changes happen again, this loadout is meta, and can be used for any type of missions, as I made sure that we put in a certain amount of flexibility and personal customization for everybody's playstyle or preference.

Hi guys, a lot of you might be wondering if this loadout is still effective, post 1.0.302, so I went ahead and tested it with a full guided gameplay video.
Tldr: It still works with our loadout, and unless you're mainly using it as a "1-shot sniper rifle", then we're good. You'd barely notice it.

@@edword7974 Dude that's a great idea!! Especially with missions in Spewer worlds! You need to be constantly on the move with this loadout, so Bile Spewers can be a headache if you don't get them under control right away!
I personally use DEMOCRACY AS MY PRIMARY, LIBERTY AS SECONDARY, JUSTICE AS MY SUPPORT WEAPON AND EAGLE-1 GOT MY BACK

Remember that the only actual loadout you ever need is the one that you personally enjoy, i love concussive pushback weapons with the strafing run, i like to push the enemies in a line and finish them off with a strafing run for maximum democracy!!
Strafing run is a beast in clearing groups! 5x use before rearm actually kinda sorta turns it into your primary weapon. And yes, it's important to enjoy the loadout that you're using! Thanks for watching! 😁
I have started using the clusters because of the 5 runs and excellent aoe vs big groups of squishies for some maps. Can you explain in what scenarios or against what opponents the strafe is better than the other eagles?
@@hammerfist8763 Strafing runs start right at the beacon and go in a line from you, so you can throw them right under your feet and not worry about it, they clear out spewers and light and medium enemies pretty well, overall it's just a less dangerous crowd control/get off me strategem. there's just a lot of times where you don't really wanna spend a cluster or any other airstrike but your primary isn't enough and your support weapon is either not built for crowds or is down where this thing shines for me

Plus you can throw a few impact nades into the group in the few seconds it takes the eagle to line up and you’ve got yourself at least a double digit kill count in higher difficulties. Input is only three key presses, extremely easy to remember, and very consistent. I never leave the Super Destroyer without out it.
Use only fire stratagems and equipment for a crowd control build trust me I’ve got 992 kills on hell dive and it’s so fun if you’ve got competent anti-tankers
After 725 hours of helldiving and killing millions of enemies, I believe there is absolutely no single best loadout in the game.
If there is anything close to a perfect load out, it would be a group of 4 that work together as a team. Period.
Truth is the better builds for bugs vs bots are very different.
The best loadout is the democracy you spread along the way!

My go-to loadout for Terminids is
Concussive Liberator(nice little buff from the update)
P-2 Peacemaker(because it is fun and buffed, but practically you'd want to run grenade pistol)
Impact or stun grenades
Jump pack
Anti-Material Rifle
Eagle airstrike
Eagle 110mm rocket pods
This build is mainly focused on taking out enemies quickly before bug breaches are called in order to roam quickly AND has S-tier support abilities. Been having a blast with this build against the bugs.
Regular Eagle strike is so much better than Eagle 110, especially once you get the 4th Module upgrade. It will damn sure hit moving targets, just toss the strat onto the target (charger, tank, whatever) and it'll hit 100% and does way more damage vs a factory strider. It's way better for taking out medium bot bases because if get the angle right, it'll take out both fabricators in one strike.
Eagle Air Strike never leaves my kit. It's too good at destroying practically everything you need it to. Blows up bot bases so easily, and shreds armor to absolute bits if it doesn't kill what it hits. You can flatten a bile titan with it if your bombs are landing direct hits on its body and I've even one shot them with a strike as they were emerging from the breach.

Why use space optimization booster if you plan on never dying, just send a resupply the moment you land and use another booster?
Ever since the Eruptor came out I've been rocking that with the senitor and stun grenades. Everything else I mix up based on mission type.
sadly, it looks like the Eruptor is getting benched after the removal of the shrapnel. Well... time to be a firebug.

I got to try the supply pack backpack and its so much fun! I always go with the jetpack for mobility today i tried that and the Punisher Plasma. That gun is underrated IMO it's so nice that this game has everything for everyone and that a level 7 new player like i played with today could easily hold their own with high level players on a difficulty 8 mission and not feel like they were underperforming

Yup! I retested the loadout just now though - and the nerf didn't negatively affect it that much. If you use the Eruptor mainly as a sniper rifle, yes, but for this loadout's playstyle, we're good. 💪
Seems so, eruptor became very uneffective with larger groups, and im a bit concernd of how he gonna deal with big groups when he packs primary weapon side and support just for the big guyz, deffo good for automaton build, but there are way better bugs ones

This has been my go to since the DD warbond dropped, with the exception, I typically run the Explosion resistant armor, and started using the shield at first till I got more comfortable with doing swarms and slowly went back to Rover. I have almost exclusively ran the Quasar since its launch since I love that I can shoot at things from across the map. Spore Spewers are harder now but just take another shot, still faster then EATs imo on shakira nests, can destroy the broadcast stations, open crates, and destroy holes more accurately from affar if im outside of the 150m range. Ive been on and off senator and the redeemer, but both are fun options.
I heard that the next warbond is like, polar themed or something? but the grenade is incendiary similar to Eagle Napalm leaving DoTs down which would give me a great reason to try out randomly since I think the utility could really help CC in swams since regular grenades dont do much with hunters and the space for a stun grenade is better against heavies imo but being able to slow down a few minions is still a solid use for them
Yeah I think it's called impact incendiary? Pretty much like a molotov cocktail. I'm actually pretty excited for Thursday! Maxing out my medals as we speak lol.
as a repeat bot scrappers I usually have 2 load-outs.
1. Heavy Assault, pick up an smg, riot shield, grenade pistol(for fabricators) and a support weapon of your choice that doesnt require backpack space(my faves are the laser cannon or railgun). for armour I'd recommend explosion resistance and medium but it doesnt really matter
2. Diligent Operator, diligence cs, support weapon of your choice(and backpack if u want to), grenade pistol(for fabricators) any armour goes well with this one.
Note the grenade pistol can be used in combat but the reaso I evenbring it is so i can use my grenade of choice in combat and not fabricators
The Ballistic Shield is awesome! It only got better once they fixed the bug (if it was a bug), where the shield is placed on your back after using a stim! Lets spill some oil! 🔥🔥
Yep, the Quasar is pretty much OP in comparison to all other stratagem weapons. It's powerful enough to kill big enemies quickly, it has unlimited amount of shots and it does not require a backpack. You can use a rover for your backpack or jetpack (better) this way and choose your preferred main weapon and two other stratagems of your choice.
I love using autocanon and EAT and then incindiary shotgun for bugs or JAR-5 for automatons. Workds quite well for everything.

It might be worth running the redeemer over the senator for close-range threats. with a little trigger discipline, can make the ammo last quite a while, effectively giving you more "shot" and a faster reload compared to the senator.

Oh yeah! I think I used a couple of clips from when I solo'd the TCS missions somewhere here. 😁 You can definitely use it for solo missions, but with a little more care and less aggression. 😁

breaker, grenade pistol and normal grenade
bots: eagle airstrike, orbital laser, orbital precision strike and autocanon or quasar
hive:500, eagle airstrike, railcannon and quasar
I hate the guard dog rover so much... my teammates are always using it while I use the shield. When we are fighting, they will walk backwards while firing, and BAM! I am hit by their damn rover. I use more stims because that damn rover than I do from enemies...
So start using the rover to get your teammates back with it.

I think it's so great that I look at this loadout and I think it's bad, but you had a lot of success from it. So many viable and fun combos in this game.

I once shooted a quasar cannon to a normal devastator and did nothing.
I know it works, cuz ive seen my friends using it fine but i instantly dropped, havent use it again, i dont like the feel of it, the cooldown, the yellow color it has... i dunno
The best loadout in the game is a personal choice, it’s up to how you want to play and how effective you are at doing that.
Nice hard-hitting loadout. Generally on bots I feel naked without the Spear - bombing fabricators across the map is such a time saver

I personally prefer a scorpion or recoiled to that of a quasar. The other 2 just feel faster and pack a better punch. Especially the scorpion. If you can ignore the reload (which seems faster if you get the chance) and the lock-on then the scorpion seems to do more damage to stuff. Especially at long ranges
I’ve been playing with the Eruptor a lot, almost exclusively since I unlocked it. When I try other primaries I regret it, that being said for me personally the rover is a must pairing.
Gotta make up for one weapon's weakness with another weapon. Those two make a good pair. 🔥
Eruptor/Stalwart is a solid well known combo that lots of people run. I use to run crossbow until it got nerfed for no reason at all.

The bets part about Helldivers is that every since strategem is viable, and i love it. (Except Orbital Gas since it's actually broken and won't function correctly. Ballistic shield is viable, just situational since we only have 1 SMG currently.)
Yup! Each equipment is like a puzzle piece, and finding which one works well with which is the fun part! Oh hey, there's a new SMG coming this Thursday with the new warbond! I'm actually looking forward to it, I'm thinking it might be medium armor penetrating. 🤔🤔
@@letsgomarko It's actually not. It's a concussion SMG. It's basically the SMG we have, but with absurdly good stun. The Assault rifle is Medium AP though.

Orbital Gas works wonderfully as long as you are the host, they need to get the dot bug fixed soooo bad
The eruptor is good against robots for ranged combat but its soo bad against bug swarms. The blitzer is the way to go against bugs
Having true unlimited ammo is always a plus when going against bugs. 💪🔥
Yep, I’ve settled on the Quasar and laser guard dog as the meta also. 1 shot with Quasar rips the armor off the Charger; 2 shot kills it.
Yup! Head shot straight to a charger's face can 1 shot it. Either time it when it's turning around to face you, or stun it. 😁
Stratagems I've been using are recoilless rifle, orbital railcannon strike, airstrike, 500kg. I can take out anything with this setup. For bugs I use incendiary breaker, grenade pistol, and stun grenades.
Oh yeah, you pretty much have everything covered with those stratagems. 💪💪

I personally would take 500k for bile titans. Its so easy to hit and kill them and you have 2 on a shorter cd then railcannon. For bugs, i would definitely take something for aoe clear. Its nice having 2 strats to play with
Against bot I like heavy explosive armor / ballistic shield with smg, grenade pistol + stun grenade. For strats anything really
Quasar is really really overrated against bugs, change my mind
Against bots is good but against bugs charging you all the time I see players missing their shots a lot of times. Even when they are not coming at you the wind up of the quasar makes people miss their shots against moving targets.
Now, recoilless is faster than the quasar, sure you need to stop moving to reload but it's waaaaay faster than before, and yes it takes a back pack slot but c'mon, you don't really need a rover or a shield to survive plus with the RR you just point and shoot and you get all 6 rocket ammo with 1 supply
i actually think the opposite is true, why would u need quasar against bots, u can kill everything with AMR or Autocannon for example
Hard disagree, I find it great against the bugs. If you don't have 3 seconds to shoot, then you are too close, and just need to create a little distance, which is pretty easy for anything you would want to actually use quasar against. It can one shot chargers as they charge you, which is perfect and makes it pretty impossible to miss their head, does good damage against even titans, and will close bug holes if your run low on grenades or other explosives. Plus, if you have large distance, then you can open with a shot from it on the largest target for decent damage at no ammo cost. Because the projectile travels so fast, it's pretty difficult to miss.
For bots I almost never take it, because if you stand still for a bot, then you make a perfect target for them. The only good they are against bots is the gunships, but if you can aim the autocannon at all, then it's a much better all-around choice.
My is heavy armor with 50%explosion res, eruptor, machiengun sup, supply pack , nuke and cluster. Literaly you have unlimited ammo grenades and stims if you mix it up with supply drops. This is for bugs my loadout, for robots switch machiengun to qusar and supply pack to shield.

Looks like a pretty good build for me. Only problem is that every item is from a different warbond, and I'm still chipping away at them. But this matches a lot with how I like to play.
Yeah.. that's how they get you. 😅 There's a new warbond coming out in a couple of days - if you're still deciding with one to go for, I would wait and see if they have anything good there first. 😁
I'm a fan of earning as much as I can without snpending additional money and at the moment I have collected 1000 super credits and am thinking about which Warbond I could unlock... also the new one is coming soon.
As long as you remember to bring something to deal with the armor you are going to find at the level you are at, I don't care what you run.
That was my problem earlier today; two level 16 in scide mission difficulty, one only had cluster bombs and the other only had eagle gatling. IDK how we got out.

We did NOT have enough ordnance to deal with two titans at the same time. And that happened twice.

quasar is a snooze weapon. Its powerful and does it job. Really well. But i wish I chould make the anti material rifle do the same job. but with the added ability to fire more shots.
There's a new rifle coming out that kinda looks like an AMR but you can charge it up and I think functions like a Quasar + Railgun? Maybe its what you're looking for. 😁 I can't wait for the next warbond to drop and test it out!
although this loadout is good i still think that it is sad that you had to clickbate with the word "meta". Most pros are saying that there is no meta. But your video was still very good and enjoyable
Good video bud...i myself prefer to use a stalwart as my primary on 1200rounds/sec,my hmg drop,shield pack and finally my patriot suit.

@@letsgomarko the shield helps on the hms but not on the patriot suit as it throws of the pack when entering...i am now farming for that heavy duty armor at the bottom of 1 of the warbonds,thinking of then trying to pair it with the balistic shield and a 1handed smg😋
@@Jeremy-ff7gv hey thanks! this is the ballistic shield or the shield generator pack? I'm not sure if it was a bug on my end, but I did see the shield bubble popping out of the exo Suit when I entered it so I thought, nice, shield for the suit! It's probably just a glitch then 😅
@@letsgomarko the shield generator pack...im going for a balistic shield build next and yea eventho it shows the bubble thru the patriot mech it doesnt do anything since it only protects u from being staggered or 1 hit killed,both of which the mech does itself😉

Armor: Either one that gives 50% chance of surviving fatal damage
Primary: Eruptor sniper
Secondary: redeemer
Grenade: your preference because it doesn’t matter, but I prefer the high explosive.

@@letsgomarko Unfortunately they nerfed the Eruptor, so incendiary breaker and grenade pistol are my edits 'til they fix what they broke. Most kills I got with the old loadout though was 933 on a lvl 8 ICBM bugs mission.

@@letsgomarko They're pretty bad. No longer oneshots brood mothers, stalkers, or guards. Seems like a 30% decrease in damage with no shrapnel. Doesn't seem to be worse at bug holes though.
Haha this is basically my same loadout for bugs. I just do orbital airburst and 500kg for the 2 flex stratagems.

Swap the quasar for an arc thrower and you can ditch the rover
The P-19 Redeemer as my secondary is much better IMO. I do like the revolver and the added speed loader but the smg is king is killing trash enemies.
1100 fire rate would rip through all of them. 🔥

Guard Dog Rover is viable for Bugs - but for Automatons I'd rather have a shield.
Orbital rail strike, arc blitzer- default pistol-incinerator grenades,liberator rover hits harder and doesn’t team or personal kill you, quasar, mech
15 second cooldown plus three second charge. You'll be lucky to get three a minute considering target acquisition and movement

Right now you'll get the most bang for your buck if you get Cutting Edge. It has Sickle, Stun Grenade, and Blitzer if you're into shotguns. 👍😁

I like how your build goes fully into the brute force by essentially taking only heavy hitting weapons. Not my personal preference since i always like having the ability to rapidly unload lots of lead in case of enemies getting too close to me, but the Eruptor + Senator combo can definitely do a lot in preventing enemies from being close.
I personally would rather take the redeemer to replace the guard dog and senator when dealing with melee enemies, and probably pick up a shield generator backpack to fully capitalize on the light armor speed buff without dying in two hits. Though the added stims work wonders when it comes to not dying, if you can press the button fast enough lol.

Brute force and heavy hitting! Took the words right right out of my mouth lol. Yeah I play with the Sickle a lot myself - still really good even with less clips! The redeemer too! I usually pair those two.

This is a good loadout but this is not the best. (For bugs at least) I have been using one since the last balence patch that has become completely overpowered. I have been hesitent to say it out loud since I know it will be nerfed the moment it becomes popular but who cares.
Primary: Blitzer
Secondary: Redeemer (any works this is just my favorite to use)
Grenade: Impact (any works this is just my favorite to use)
Armor: B-24 Enforcer (any works but the explocive resistance has saved me many times)
Booster: Stamina
Stratagem 1: 500 KG
Stratagem 2: Lazer drone
Stratagem 3: Expendable Anti-Tank
Stratagem 4: Lazer Cannon (NOT QUASAR)
This may seem strange since 3 Stratagem slots are being taken up by blue Stratagems however this loadout is insane. 150+ kills on the short Blitz missions. 250+ on an average 40 minute mission. I once even got over 600 kills once when our team was working together. It works great if another team member is using the flame thrower. On that 600 kill mission I did not get the most kills. The teammate using the flame thrower got over 700. Try it before it gets nerfed. You will never be able to go back.

not the best but its ok. The blitzer is the best against those pesky zergs. Also the double anti tank rocket launcher is a game changer. u can call it down every 60 secs.

Im 150, i hate people with the rover, it triggers bug breaches all the time and bot drops , great back back for lower levels horrible on hell diver
A good loadout. Similar to mine but I don't use the dog. It tends to kill me or teamates. I use a very important item which has a peculiar perk which I won't mention. I can't say more cause... joel will nerf it if I say it...

I would love to do that! I actually have an idea for a very niche team loadout, but very fun to use if it works. I just need to find time for me and some people to be able to go online together. 👍

this is not a good loadout in my opinion. get the sickle the granade gun and the shield. feels soo much better. and you wont kill your friends. this way you can run light armor aswell and do all objectives faster.

I just CANT get away from the Arc thrower it is too good. deals with everything but bile Titans. (for bugs) for Bots i usually just mix it around cuz its going to be hell eitherway.
I've been meaning to try and find a good loadout for arc-based weapons! If you have any ideas on what might work, let us know! 😊

Primary: Blitzer or Sickle ( no ammo or little to no ammo needed)
Secondary : Nade Pistol ( to close holes or deal with spewers if you are in a pinch )
Nade: which ever you like I do Stun it helps if you are getting overun by chargers
Stratagems
Arc Thrower ( i run the extra arc chain module )
Anti-Tank ( i usually do AT-AT cuz of the slow CD ) amazing to deal with bile titans or some chargers too.
Stratagem 3 ( up to the user ) I do Orbital gas, it is amazing to deal with Bug breaches
stratagem 4 ( up to the user ) I either do a backpack or some Eagle 1 stratagem.
the only thing that sucks is the 1 sec fire rate on the Arc but you do get used to it. I use the arc thrower as a primary and my primary as a quick reaction kinda thing if im getting overun. It takes about 5-6 shots in the head to kill a charger pretty fast IMO.

Quasar, Eagle Air Strike, Orb. Rail Strike, Orb Laser. Currently deployed to the Automaton Front. Only fight in the LVL 9 Helldive Region. Closing out missions with brutal consistency. Only wear Light Armor and have been using the Eruptor since its release.
Unless something new comes out, this load out has carried me to a Rank of 115.

Maaaan, the ArrowHead guys keep on working overtime lol. But yeah, unless you're going to be using the Eruptor purely as a sniper rifle, we should be good with this loadout. I played with it last night and I really couldn't tell the difference at first.
Clickbait. Fine build I guess. Haven't tried senator, but if it can't reliably kill hunters in melee range it's bad vs bugs.
Have some issues with the build being "against automatons". Laser rover and quasar are suboptimal vs bots. You better run Autocannon or AMR and shieldpack or resupack as backpack.

There's other loadouts that are completely different albeit just as viable as this one. The devs working hard to prevent meta-builds is actually a good thing. Meta builds suck the fun out of everything and kill a game faster than you can spell "managed democracy".
