I just saw a meme\video of different videos of Axl's running, then Slash running, and it looked like they were chasing each other!😂😂 It was HILARIOUS!
Nightrain was a very potent alcoholic drink. Btw Matt Sorum is 1 of the most underrated drummers ever.
I still have my VHS of this complete in the box. How in the Hell it still plays after the amount of times I've watched it is a mystery to me. But the song that steals the show at this concert is when they play Double Talking Jive. Slash's intro and outro solos alone are god tier.
This song inspired me and my buddies to go to the liquor store and buy Night Train. Let me tell you, we drank a bottle between the three of us, and that stuff really makes you feel good, but it sneaks on you, and you get hammered. We really did almost never return.

In these early years the beginning of the song was done by Axl blowing into one of those wooden train whistle toys …. In recent years before this song starts Axl has a control he picks up on the stage and just presses a button to blow a REAL train air horn that will blow your ears off if you are anywhere in front of it on the stage !
That's the opening song to set the energy level. Then encore ends with paradise city. Always.

Guns n roses, went down hill in the early 90s..i watched them live 1992, they where diabolical.. Backing band, faith no more. Sound garden.
I saw them in 92 with just Soundgarden at the pyramid in Memphis Tennessee and they KILLED it, I guess some nights your on and some nights your off...
It depends what night you catch them on. My dad seen them in 88 and said they were terrible that night lol.

@@marcot4863 yeah I hear ya, he is definitely a diva, I saw the Memphis show which was right after their infamous St. Louis show where he walked off stage and it started a riot that caused millions in damages....but he was on point the night I saw them...

Guns-N Roses made it possible for Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Peral Jam, Nirvana and some a other's that were doing hard rock music like Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Silverchair, and Creed.

Appetite for destruction is in my opinion the best hard rock record of the 80's. Nighttrain is one of the best Songs on that record,but the Sound of that live-version is not realy good. But your reaction is great.

Sound like axle was struggling a little bit in this performance I've got the DVD set of this concert. The performance from the Ritz is the best live in my opinion
Thanks to GN'R, my cousin and I drank a bottle of that cheap shit in the winter of 1988 when I was the sweet, tender age of 16, then rode shotgun on a dirt bike 20 miles to the next town on icey roads drunk as funk, it's a miracle we survived. I tried not to tip my Aunt off to my obvious lack of sobriety, fell asleep, woke up at like two in the morning, walked outside and puked my guts up, wiped my chin, walked back into the house and announced, "ah, I feel good now."
I smoked my cigarette with style.
Hmmmm.......who else could be at such a high level that they could engage a non-English speaking audience. Maybe Deep Purple at Budokan, Tokyo in 1972, or Zakk Wylde at Budokan in 2013?
