I love how Tom never misses an opportunity to prise Emily. He's so nice. And I'm in love with Emily Blunt. She was terrific.
i love the fact he asked her to do this movie which allowed her to showcase her full repertoire as an actress. the potential was always there for her to be an action star
I saw Edge of Tommorow and it was great. Probably the best action movie of the year so far.
The more I watch of Tom the more I realize he really is a kind spirited human. I bet he's a great producer to work with.

Edge of Tomorrow was a masterpiece of a film~ Tom Cruise just makes any film so much better, and his chemistry with Emily Blunt was perfection :)
What an great movie this was, truly a masterpiece. at that time this probably had the worst marketing team ruined it being a huge success. This is probably one of the best Sci-Fi action movies in recent past...
its bizarre because you would think a tom cruise movie regardless of marketing and the title teaming up with blunt and she was massive even back then would be a standout hit.
the final act and ending isn't very good but yeah still great overall

emily has come far since this movie, in many more action movies it really boosted her career. its a shame the movie didnt do that great at the box office otherwise a sequel would have been easier

Goodness, Tom Cruise could be her father! She's even younger than Katie Holmes. Age-aside, I think Emily has this strong personity that won't fit as Tom Cruise's woman. The Krunts are such a balanced couple.

The casino at Catalina. The one place in avalon that drops 100 feet immediately. The beach is quite visible and their you can't see the bottom. It's the gamble. There's no games inside. We know schools of barracuda rush in and can make a diver disappear and air bottles don't always have nametags so people get ones other divers forgot there all the time I heard from a guy who lives there. He collects sells and rents them. Who knows maybe they retired or just weren't happy with scuba there first trip

cool movie I watched it few days ago
I noticed Blunt over the years but there isn't really a film she's in that I like Sicarro and Girl on a Train were interesting platforms - totally forgot about Edge .
her early films really made her a standout and made people like tom want to work with her. watch the adjustment bureau if you haven't, she was really good with matt damon and that's the movie that got tom to cast emily for this particular role.

Tom should try a role as a returned Jesus christ in modern times. I garentee he'd be a surfer who got eaten by an orca at Huntington Beach pier while stepping off his board to walk on water then wham out of the curl full tube blast the shamoo to tear him to pieces like a seal playing hackey sack tail flipping Jesus in tosses til he disappeared except blood and tiny communion size chunks of flesh . . Whoaly communion then forward three days a turd John of ocean baptisn sank in a kelp bead . It's been a while since the orcas have eaten people on the sand bars. It's usually Palos Verdes or laguna Malibu or other rocky coast where they are the territorial locals surfers complain about. Marine land was there for a reason. I've seen one about a few miles off coast that at 30 feet made me see why fishermen were disappearing night fishing Palo Verdes and the cause of rogue waves that had men never found again. In a place where you can see 100 feet clear most days of depth. People don't disappear off the coast when great whites bite. Killer whales dont mind 5akibg them on a three hour tour to guy lie again island. Or backside Catalina where they keep clothes stored so they can play with Ken dolls again. They like to mix and match colors and styles. People kayak there all the time and I always wonder if they don't know about marine land and the pod of orcas that are 12000 pounds a piece and up to 35 feet long that throw 500 pound seals 30 feet high and jump over and land on things that make kayak orca yak after its chewed to pieces on a regular basis. The scary part is they removed all the warning signs and the papers only report rogue waves. Like they don't want the new Cali hippys to know its not SeaWorld out there it's hungry killers that hit surfers like trains to teach tricks the trainers at SeaWorld leave out of the show most the time.

Tom waffles a lot and Emily gets bored so she interrupts him and you can tell he doesn't like it!
Anyone else think that the movie might have been slightly better with someone other than Tom Cruise playing the lead!? Not that Tom did a bad job or anything, just saying that he really seemed to be trying too hard at points and other times he was almost like dialing-in his performance, plus he is noticeably older than Emily Blunt (even though he doesn't look it)!
