My brother has met Emily, and he had no clue who she was, just that she was this charming girl at the club where he was a regular in Ann Arbor, MI. He started chatting her up and she began laughing her head off (he's very attractive and deadly funny). Then he looked up and a guy was standing there who said, "Hi, I'm her husband." My brother was shocked to realize it was "Jim from 'The Office.'" One of my favorite stories.

@@josi4251 Are you sure it was 5 or 6 years ago? Emily and John spent time in Ann Arbor during the filming of Five Year Engagement. But that was in 2011. Emily was really busy in 2014, 2015 and 2016 making movies(none in Michigan) and having babies.
I find Emily Blunt so delightful. She has a great sense of humor, she doesn't take herself too seriously, her accent is charming AF, and her laugh makes me laugh with her.

When my daughter was 14 I sent her to Europe with her class from school. I signed a waiver for her to have one drink each evening with dinner. And Emily Blunt I just love! She's so real and funny and oh so talented :)
My mother did the same for us......then we went out drinking every night, all night.
In Britain it's 18. Stricter now, but I was buying drinks in the pub at 16, in the 80s. But in France for example, it's normal for kids 12 or 13 upwards, to have a little wine with dinner.
I live in Eastern Europe , that's another league. At 14 my whole football team got drunk in a strip club with the coach.

Emily's right: Ireland is SO GREEN and beautiful. We rented a car when I visited for 2 weeks back in 2006, and drove for about 1,500 kilometres. Every hill you crest, there's another stunning 360degree vista. I think it's because it rains (mists) a lot. And you don't have to drive too far out to get the undeveloped land. This country is totally worth visiting!

Good actress. I've got a couple of her movies on DVD such as My Summer of Love. Dan in Real Life. Gnomeo and Juliet. Edge of Tomorrow and The Huntsman: Winter's War. The Huntsman: Winter's War was the only Emily Blunt movie I ever watched on the big screen.

In fairness, they had to do a somewhat generic Irish accent because there's no way in hell anyone outside of Ireland can understand a full on culchie accent.
I'm not Irish so I guess I'm in no place to judge but the accents don't sound too bad. She pretty much sounds like Saoirse Ronan who is Irish/American and I have work colleagues who are Irish and they sound similar....
