tig welding torch setting tungsten stick out length for fillet welds

I give a thumbs up for anyone trying to help, but to show a technique that has so much variable is hard to learn from IMO. Maybe put the same size tungsten in the fillet as an offset gauge and then tighten up the back cap? Anyway thanks for the info mate...G.
