Amen brother! I remember EXACTLY where I was and EXACTLY what I was doing at 8:46 AM on that dark day in history. I was in the 7th grade. That day started out as just another normal school day. It was the 2nd period of the day. Anyhow, it was computer technology and we were only about 5-8 minutes into our assignment (spreadsheets I believe). Our assistant principal, who at the time was in the Navy reserves, came into class to tell our teacher, a fellow service member of his on reserves (Air Force) that a plane hit the north tower. He turned on a tv we had in the room to one of the local channels here in Louisville and we watched for a minute. Within 3 minutes of turning the tv on, the second plane hit! We had to turn it off when we saw people jumping or falling from the towers. That’s when I knew that whatever had just happened wasn’t good AT ALL! It meant we were under attack. Im sure you’ve been asked this over and over so i apologize in advance, but if you don’t mind me asking this………..where were you?
O say can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States of America! And to the Republic for which it stands! One Nation! Under God! Indivisible! With Liberty……and Justice……FOR ALL!! Never Forget!
THIS is how you're suppose to sing the National Anthem ANYTIME!!!! The moment she sang this, she put every Super Bowl performer (with the exception of Billy Joel and the Dixie Chicks) to shame!
Color me impress especially when a female police officer from NYC gets to sing the Star Spangled Banner the National Anthem in honor of 9/11🇺🇲❤️🤍💙🖤🏈🤘⚡.
