Thank you for sharing this. I started the choir in 1998-99 and remember meeting Dr. Turnbull. He impacted my life in so many ways that continues to strengthen me till today. He was one of God’s chosen people and an untold icon in the Harlem community.
I remember watching this documentary in my seventh grade music class at school, and being thoroughly jealous. I always wanted to sing that beautifully, but couldn't carry a tune in a paper bag. When I was in my twenties, and decided to change that, and took voice lessons for six years. I do sing in a choir now!
