Wonderful farm, wonderful story. Thank you for your aloha for your farm, community, ohana, and aina. Mahalo nui!
Awesome journey, your story brought tears to my eyes, mahalo for perpetuating your family legacy and in your own way, continuing to make Hawaii a very special place.
I miss having Watercress. My late Mom really made a great dish with them.
there was an asian soup that my mom made out of probably their watercress......was super good! I think health folks also blend watercress in the blender to make a juice!
I was born in Ewa 1946, and i grew up with that "landmark", watercress farm. I now live on the Big Island and seeing this on utube ❤❤❤ brings back positive memories, i pray for your continued sucess.
Mahalo ❤
Awesome story!!
I worked for HPD back in the early 2000s in Pearl City.....I had to go to the farm due to people breaking into an empty house on the backside of the farm by the mall.....I met with the Aunty who has died of cancer....what a strong character she was.....you would not want to mess with this strong woman....when I was talking to her I had to laugh to myself due to thinking you had to be a strong off beat character to own and work this farm....you could tell she was a force of nature and a little crazy in a good way...
We eat watercress for bolid up with pork beef lamb mutton and it's beautiful
Protect the Aina! A beautiful story of family, perseverance and history.
