Just want to say a big thank you for making your amazing videos. I'm from Melbourne and currently under strict lockdown and curfews. So, your videos are my only way to escape. I'm also desperately missing delicious Malaysian food. Will be returning to Penang and KL next year (assuming Australia lifts the ban on international travel) for a foodie holiday!
That's an awesome plan. Both cities are filled with incredible food. We've heard about the situation in Melbourne. Our hearts go out to you guys there. Hang in there and stay safe 💪🙏 We hope it'll all be over soon.
We L O V E satay! So many different satays they have there. The color of these ones are sooooo nice. hahah Sue's satay sword play. Good job on the shots of the satay getting grilled! Really smooth slo-mo.
The charred part has to be the best part. Having that with the white rice would be heavenly. Chicken would probably be my favorite. Thanks for making me hungry.
Oh yeah.. look at that grill going!! Kajang Satay looks so delicious! Mmm that chicken satay looks just right, only one piece.. yes dunk it in peanut sauce! 😋
Satay sticks look so good. I just wish there was a Veg option. Maybe like a tofu satay or some sort of mock meat. Do you guys know anywhere that does something like that in KL?
😯 juices.... look at those nice juices flowing onto the satay flowing out of the satay. That's the secret to a good satay the juices hahaha. Chicken and lamb! With that crazy peanut sauce ooooooo shook man
Wow The satay look amazing and delicious I just finished dinner and you’re making me hungry again. The beef satay looked fabulous had a smoky taste as you mentioned Yum and the dipping sauce is my favorite
Yeahhh, our kind of episode. We're HUGE fans of satay and this place looks amazing. Very old school. I'm guessing the peanut sauce is optional. It already looks like it has a ton of flavor. We like a good beef jerky so would probably love that beef one. That rice roll looks quite good too. Yes! Improvised chopsticks. hahaaha Nice, Sue!
The peanut sauce is served with the satay. But this satay was so good, the sauce wasn't very necessary haha. It's kind of like a beef jerky but more tender 😍
Love the colour of the satay, it’s got an orange-ish colour. Wondering what spice they use here for the satay. You’re gonna need more peanut sauce haha, when it tastes so good, a small bowl won’t be enough, gotta have a big bucket of peanut sauce 🤣
Awww lontong with satay & peanut sauce
I love every time you guys show us satay
These guys have several places, that's awesome
Amazing back story too. Started from just a small stall and grew into an iconic satay place here

Loved all the lemongrass on these satay!
They're really generous with that marination 😍
Wow 12 years and 4 branches?? Must be good!!!
With quality satay like this, it's no surprise.
You got such great up close grill shots! Awesome they let you and Jumi get to film there by the grill
They were so awesome to let us go really close to the action. Such a friendly place!
Im sold Puri!! Definitely trying that sate perut 👌🏻

Thanks guys! This place takes their marination to a whole new level. Awesome tasting satays 🤤😍
The charred part has to be the best part. Having that with the white rice would be heavenly. Chicken would probably be my favorite. Thanks for making me hungry.
Always love the crispy charred parts. It gives such a nice smokiness to the satay 😍
Interesting food choices. Hope you guys are staying safe and having a good weekend.. Full View and Like..
Thank you 😄♥️ You too, stay safe and have a great weekend!!
The sauce just became a soup for Sue hahahaha
☝️so true 😂
Omg those satay seriously look so yummy, perfectly 'bakar' 😋
Haha always love a bit of burnt/charred parts on the satay
Oh yeah.. look at that grill going!! Kajang Satay looks so delicious! Mmm that chicken satay looks just right, only one piece.. yes dunk it in peanut sauce! 😋
Kajang Satay is definitely a must in Kuala Lumpur / Kajang. 😍
Satay sticks look so good. I just wish there was a Veg option. Maybe like a tofu satay or some sort of mock meat. Do you guys know anywhere that does something like that in KL?
We've not come across a vegetarian version of satay but there's a high chance that it's being sold somewhere. Just gotta look for it 😍
LOL satay swords 😂 lurrrrve that lamb! 😁😍
😂😂
lovely stuffed plate you got there!! 👍👍
😯 juices.... look at those nice juices flowing onto the satay flowing out of the satay. That's the secret to a good satay the juices hahaha. Chicken and lamb! With that crazy peanut sauce ooooooo shook man
Syok giler is what we say here haha. It means Crazy Good!! 😍😍😍
The tripe looks like a grilled red pepper. It looks soooo good
Wow The satay look amazing and delicious I just finished dinner and you’re making me hungry again. The beef satay looked fabulous had a smoky taste as you mentioned Yum and the dipping sauce is my favorite
Hi Jeff! The beef satay was our favourite too. Such a nice flavour and smokiness to it. Have wonderful week! 😄♥️
I could seriously eat satay everyday! Looks so juicy and smoky. I like when the peanut sauce is creamy but chunky lol
It's such a comfort food to have. Totally in love with the grilled aroma and chared flavours of satay 😍🤤
Omg the lamb satay!! Juicy good! Mouth is watering
I (Puri) love anything lamb haha.
I’m so jealous right now!! I want to eat satay now! I’m going to have to find some by me!
Hope you get to satisfy your satay cravings 😄
Lontong never seen this before!! Nice snack food
It's a very good alternative to the nasi impit. The aroma from the leaf has embedded into the rice 😍
Mmm that rice cake reminds me of a Filipino dessert called Suman.. looks like the perfect dessert after eating some satay! ❤
Oo Suman looks interesting. The lontong is quite different. It isn't flavoured, just ordinary rice cooked in a banana leaf 😄
👍 👍 👍 🌹🌹 احل بصمه
These satay were so good they didn’t even need sauce!
Absolutely. But the sauce is still so good to have 🤤
nice
Thanks!
Wau pasti sedap tmksh dgn resep nya semoga bermanfaat Amin yerobbal alamin

I just love kabobs. Love how they cook it street style. I bet it smelled so good around that area!!!! Cool you got one of each.
Ohh that's interesting. I would never expect the lamb to be tougher than the beef.
But yes the lean part can make it like that for sure
Yea, it's probably due to the time it's been on the grill. Still tasty though 😍
I always wanted to making these satay at home. I love these when dip in the peanut sauce !! Sword fight lol = )) I wish I can try these too !!
I think it's definitely worth a try 😍 Go for it!
Damn, I just had dinner and now I'm hungry again. I miss Malaysia.
😂
Woww 🤤🤤🤤
Mmm beef satay.. it does look like beef jerky a little.. sword fight lol! Right amount of char too! 🙂
It does taste a little bit like a jerky too 🤤
Love the colour of the satay, it’s got an orange-ish colour. Wondering what spice they use here for the satay.
You’re gonna need more peanut sauce haha, when it tastes so good, a small bowl won’t be enough, gotta have a big bucket of peanut sauce 🤣
Not too sure what was on that marination but that colour does stand out from the other satays we've had. Haha there's ever enough peanut sauce lol 😂
Holy smokes open fire grill that pit!! That must smell amazing!!! The tripe satay is different!!! So good
You bet it is. So much smoke filled with the satay aroma in the air 🤤
This spot is a satay heaven!! 😍
Look at you guys enjoying each of the satay stick 🤤🤤
Now we want satay too! 😆
Haha you guys made satay at home and it looks so awesome too!

Hairy serai 😂

Tripe!! We have to give that to Lieles 🤫🤫

In Gombak, there is legendary satay stall known as "Satay Pak Din".. IMO, they are the best Satay in Malaysia!
Thanks for the recommendation! We'll check out Satay Pak Din next time 😄
@@PuriandSue nice!
@@PuriandSue Their best satays are the Beef and Lamb satays
Like that there is a good mix of the fat and the lean meat too 🤤 n the prices are reasonable per stick 👍
Love the ratio of meats and fats per stick. Truly some quality satay preparation right there 😍
uhh i can get 30 of it :D
Haha definitely! 😂
We can almost smell the charcoal of that place 🙃🙃
