It is so refreshing to get someone share these Advent Calendars with us, so we can pick those we might like to try next year. That wool shop was just incredible, like a sweet shop for wool. I do love seeing you walk the dogs in your beautiful countryside.
Hi Philippa 🎄🍄 I definitely joined your channel for felting but I also love crochet, so seeing the yarns is also a joy for me. And I get true excitement from watching you open these advent calendars! I’m sure it’s a lot of work to make these videos, and I’m thankful you’re sharing them with us ❤
Thank you for appreciating the work that goes on behind it, it's been fun but time consuming but it was a great excuse to get all these advents, so pleased you are enjoying the series xx
Thank you for sharing vlogma with us! I'm really enjoying seeing all the advent items, as well as a scenery in your town and snips of your life. Thank you for making videos :)
Your village is so gorgeous!! And wow, Last of the Summer Wine! We watched that growing up :) The dogs in their little coats...eeeep...they are adorable!! x
Love following you while opening up all the lovely advents. Thanks you for sharing your trip to Black sheep wools, that shop is going on our to do list for next years holiday, it's going to be a woolly holiday with visiting Yarndale and world of wool😂 as well.
Good morning Philippa, I LOVE your vlogs, your creativity is very inspiring. Holmfirth is not far from me and is always a nice place to visit. Black Sheep Wools is a lovely place too, I've got a few Wrendale cross stitch kits, which I'm hoping to start/finish in 2025. I've seen a few of them finished and framed and they look amazing. Mr and Mrs Claus are very cute too. Enjoy the rest of your day and have a lovely weekend 🙂🥰
Wow! Another terrific vlogmas. What a surprise it was to hear you live in the village where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed. My husband and I have enjoyed watching the replays of some of the episodes and we are big fans of Wallace and Gromit. Because we are from the US and our landscape is so different from yours, it is a treat when you share these beautiful areas on your channel. Thank you ☺️
Hi Pippa, great vlog, I’m loving the advent calendar openings. It’s so lovely to see around your area, I haven’t been back for six years so it’s nice to see. I’m originally from down South but I love the north it’s so beautiful. I’m looking forward to your advent calendar next year if you decide to do one. I love different types of needle work, I’m doing a fox at the moment.
Love this series. Thanks for sharing with us. I am new to felting and your channel is my go to source. I think I might try the barn2yarn advent next year, the locks are beautiful. Merry Christmas, God bless you and your family.
Love your vlog and it’s so good to see a few of the advent calendars from the wool companies. I bought the felt box one for myself. lol. Will try W ObW next year. Or yours 😀😀😀
Really interesting to see Black Sheep Wools as I ordered some beautiful wool and a pattern from them the other week with a view to try crochet for the first time. Really struggling and don’t think it’s for me unfortunately despite finding some good TH-cam tutorials. Mum has offered to make the blanket for me so I’ll just stick with needle felting which relaxes me and doesn’t stress me out unlike the crochet!
I am the same with needle felting. I bought all the equipment, watched the videos and found that I was useless. It was a shock as I can turn my hand to anything! I love these videos and reading a comment the other day, I realised that the blob on my work table is last Christmases owl! The video is top of my list so I WILL finish it.
I have really been enjoying watching you open all of these. I would love to do this next year. Will have to see if there is anyone in the States doing it, but if you do one... 😁
I love watching you open the Calenders, i don't know how you keep motivated to make all the little projects, that shop was fantastic, the tour of the Village was great, didn't realize you lived there, i'm old enough to remember 'Last of the summer wine' watching you always lifts me up xxxx
Definitely enjoying your Vlogmas Philippa. And your village is so lovely. So different to where I live in Australia. Also love your doggies - they are so cute xx
Yes absolutely enjoying these vlogs 😀. I’m always amazed by all the variations of colours in the wools. I think I need to be more adventurous in 2025 with my makes. So helpful seeing the advents and getting your feedback as it is something that I’ve not been enthusiastic getting involved in. Maybe you will be the one to change my mind for next year 😂🤣. Enjoy Edinburgh 🥰xx🎄☃️
Wow what a fabulous shop, looking forward to seeing your Mr and Mrs Claus. I bought an embroidery project and a sewing template for a fairy today from a charity shop. Too many great things to make. I am behind on my advent as I started something else so am superimpressed you have kept so focussed. The cross stitch you bought look stunning. Great vlog ❤
Yes, I have lots of things to do but I really like them all so one day I will get round to them, I couldn't resist Mr and Mrs Claus, thanks for watching xx
Loving your vlogs, so good to see all the different advents! Hope you do bring one out next year! Loving all the wool & your dog walks & travels to places, so relaxing to watch. Thank you!
The yarn is beautiful… how the colors change slightly day by day as they make their way through woodland shades! What will you be making with the yarn?
Thankyou again for another lovely vlog,I didn’t realise you lived in such a beautiful place,my dad loved compo,I still watch it occasionally it’s so funny,it’s been so interesting seeing the variety in the advent calendars,I’m in love with your toft dolls, can’t wait to see them finished,I’m desperate to be able to read patterns but can’t rush these things,I thought of you the other day,I use a lot of wax melts and have quite a lot of burners,I brought the most beautiful new one that I know you’d love,it has mushrooms on and butterflies and leaves,I’ll try and send you a picture, looking forward to next time thanks bunches xx
Thanks for the picture on Insta, yes, patterns were super scary but I am getting there, watching videos first really helped me, so pleased you are enjoying the vlogmases, take care x
These are really fun! I do wet felting accessories & that got me to start crochet & knitting again. You can felt your makes made with 100% wool & add yarns to wet felted items.
It would have been nice if you had put up the links to all the places you got the Advent Calendars from, I have gone back to day one and I can't find any links in the info under the video.
Oh to be able to visit a wool shop like that, but just as well there are none like that in Australia I really don’t need more any more wool or fleece, it would be a massive temptation but lovely to see it anyway
Hi, I type the names of them on the screen at least once in each Vlogmas or go back to the video before Vlogmas starts and I go through them all, thanks so much xx
I so nearly bought the World Of Wool advent, wish I had now! Are the wools purely for felting or can they be spun? (I’m guessing yes, but I’m very much a newbie!) So many yummy yarn colours! Just beautiful. I remember Last Of The Summer Wine - such a nostalgic show. Watching all these advent sets is very inspiring, and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in the next one - and seeing what you create!
Thank you for another great video! Your dogs are just adorable. I know you have Gracie and Bella, but what is the name of the third one? See you in a couple of days! xx
Thanks for the trip out, the patterns are so cute 🎅🏼🤶 the cross stitch kit is gorgeous, Wrendale kits are super cute. Very atmospheric with the fog, lovely though to see the countryside. X

@Samzwsd1634 I will try! It won't be soon. I love the way Philippa says twenty minutes work and I am still at it a week later😄
I loved that shoe and Wallace and gromett
I have really been enjoying watching you open all of these. I would love to do this next year. Will have to see if there is anyone in the States doing it, but if you do one... 😁
Thanks and great to have you here enjoying the vlogs, not sure what needle felting ones there are in the US, would be interesting to find any xx
