    Just one thing the original concrete has broken on the section you clear so the dam was merely doing what the concrete originally did. So you have lowered the water level unnecessarily rather than remove a blockage. I do like to see water flow too though.

    • @afreakinninja
      @afreakinninja  2 ปีที่แล้ว +40

      It's been like that for decades, the current maintained level of the pond is that broken part of the concrete. When they install new drainage they match this level. The drain is probably over a hundred years old, I should make a video about it.

      I was thinking if there is debris at the bottom wouldn't you clear that out first before the water flowed into it? no? I agree with you now that i see it. That spill way was not suppose to be that low.

    Post 10 has inspired many children, including mine, to unclog drains that the city won't. He is a TH-cam hero in my books. Kids that follow his lead, like this guy, are being productive instead of sitting around playing Ps4 etc. Good job dude!!👍👍👍

    I do this at my school, there’s a waterfall right outside that often gets clogged up by leaves and stones. The water can’t get to the drain, the drain is a bit far away so the water has to travel a little bit, the drain it’s just straight up there like it is in this video. It’s some meters away, it can cause floodings in the buildings if people don’t clean. It’s a big problem during fall.
