I've said it before and I'll say it again. Joel's base is my favorite on the Hermitcraft server. The amount of details going into the builds is insane. Graffiti idea for Impulse's walls: advertise Honey, Glowberries and Glow Ink Sacs!
Joel's building style is legitimately my favorite out of all the builders. It just feels like the right touch between artistic expression while still fully embracing the Minecraft vibe so it doesn't feel like you're trying to play a different game!
If you're going to keep the King Kong you should change the pilot to be you and then put a Lizzie armor stand in the hand of Kong. That would be amazing for your Base.
I mentioned this on Impulse's video a few months back when he was making his XP station, but Lime Dye looks a lot like XP bubbles if you put it on invisible armour stands in glass "tubes". Could be a good idea for in the back of your CyberPunk Truck or around the XP building.

On the big building you have a containment tank. Maybe you could build it so that it looks like King Kong has escaped out of it and climbed up the nearest building. Like they were doing experiments on him because he is a boss and could drop a lot of XP.
The holes in cyberpunk design are inspired by hong Kong architecture. Which puts holes in skyscrapers to allow the mountain spirit dragons to fly through to access the water. I think you should make the hole go all the way through the building.

Joel, your building style this season reminds me of the Lego Ninjago City line! The Lego sets are also Japanese cyberpunk with the twist that the building styles go from traditional to modern to cyberpunk as they go up in levels. Loving the city, you're a madman!
Hey Joel - take it for a grain of salt as I'm just a silly viewer, but a big steampunkish blimp in the sky would look pretty cool! Fits in with the whole cyberpunk/industrial mashup.

Godzilla would look odd on a side of a building since he can't climb. Him coming from the water behind the city though would look cool. Kinda like from "Godzilla Minus One" where Godzilla crosses the land between Sagami Bay and Tokyo.

Howdy Joel!! Love the expansion to the build. The green tone and the large advertising bits really sold the scale of the build. For the portal / hole, I recommend creating an inverse portal of Scar’s train portal. It could be the lore “exit point”, especially since Scar’s train hovers above the tracks with grind stones similarly to yours. I hope you liked the idea and keep up the amazing work. You’re awesome!
Truck looks good but yeah please add some like “glass pane” wind behind it to make it look less floaty! Could be a good interaction with scar to get him to help out
For the cyberpunk truck exit/entrance you could use some honey blocks as if there is a force field it’s breaking through and so it’s now wavering back and forth a bit with a few bits of honey flying out as they got dislodged by the truck going through it.
i love the new build sm! also i wonder if some campfire smoke particles incorporated somehow on the flying vehicle would help w the illusion that it's running/moving rather than just floating? perhaps a campfire at the back w signs on the side/trapdoor on the bottom as an exhaust pipe sorta thing?
to help with the hovering look you could place iron trap doors in 2 sets of 3x3 formation under the truck, with another iron trap door one block under the big "circles" that so that you get those hover rings you commonly see in futuristic designs
