The two of you may be the best duo of analysts AA has to offer. No BS, just real, reasonable, cogent takes. Also, happy birthday Adam. You're only as old as you feel!
The way I would bring Stephen Nelson into the mix is I would play him on Christmas but only give him red zone defense snaps for the 1st half and then let him play every single defensive snap in the 2nd half. And just keep that formula going until he is ready to play a full game. Nelson will be important for our defense going into the playoffs because if he plays well that will allow spags to move McDuffie back to the nickel cornerback position.
If dj Humphries never gets healthy, This is my solution: play thuney at LT, and bring back wanya morris at LG. Morris played guard in college before he played tackle. Hes a road grater in the run game, so those inside hand offs we've lived off of all year would continue to be effective, his feet were never good enough to be a tackle, that doesn't matter as much when you're inside. And he has the strength and size to play there. I that that actually gets the best out of Morris' ability regardless. If DJ never gets right, this keeps our best 5 in the game, without dropping off.
It's hard to say with a 4 season sample size but Noah Grey's trajectory doesn't appear to be one of mediocrity on the face of it. With 3 games still to play, he's nearly 40% more productive in yards this season (20th among TEs) with 150% more TDs (7th in the league among TEs) and 50% more first downs (12th in the league among TEs), along with much higher percent catches to targets compared to previous seasons, all on a paltry 9% increase in snap count. Seems to me maybe he had a lightbulb moment and is turning a corner to bigger and better things. Plus he's been clutch the last couple of seasons. I think he'd be a pretty good starter on any other team. He's kind of in the sweet spot. Very productive system TE but not the kind of star that has a market such that he can jump to another team offering more money.
Noah gray is dope but his ceiling is TE2 in my opinion. I believe he is intelligent enough to take over once kelce retires but I don't believe Noah g would be a number 1 TE if he was on any other team. He is under sized for the position and he lacks the athleticism we see from a majority of the starting TE's in the game today. When they are healthy who do you prefer as TE3, Jared Wiley or Jody fortson?
I dont think you and i were watching the same game in terms if mike caliendo.. this is nothing personal, but ive never been impressed by the guy... And last week against the browns i saw a guy giving up interior pressure, so Mahomes couldnt ever step up in the pocket, he was getting worked in the run game, so much so that we literally could NOT run the ball to the left. At all. He was losing so quickly that plays never had a chance going that way. You can sitht pff all you want -- what i saw with my eyes was a dude that needs to be a back up. He was overwhelmed all game long.
This might be one of the best analysis from you two of what the Chiefs do in the playoffs in a long time. Nicely done.

Worthy is like a young race horse. Needs to grow into his legs

Sterling is faster with the ad read.
Patrick is much easier to understand when he does it tho. So 🤷 youre both winners
This Worthy slander is fucking crazy. He's been our best WR. Trash takes. Mahomes is the one missing him.
