yeah, bring back old schol urban vibe.I do hope the will record new album with this line-up.get sth like bme mixed with the more things change. heavy shit.
Saw them live when this album came out in a suburb of Chicago. They were something no one could touch then. Not even Pantera. One of the best metal shows I've ever seen. The heart of these songs still comes through with the addition of the og players. I'll say this album is one of my top 5 best heavy records ever. Ironically, I now live maybe an HR from where these videos are being filmed. Robb, keep the band going. It's your life, no reason to stop.
I don't believe it! Chris Kontos!? In my opinion he's the one that gave them the groove, which later on McClain took away with his whole technical-robotic-doublekick extravaganza. Great news!
While I cannot bring myself to dislike McClain´s style I dig Kontos´ drumming way more because of it´s irresistible groovyness . Despite that ambivalence MH is the band I´ve listened to the longest, plus they seduced me to learn guitar after hearing "Burn my eyes" and then immediately buying "The more things change" right after that and learning every rhythm guitar on that CD inside of less than 10 days of highly alcoholic easter holidays :)
Hey guys I just found out this video and man what an honour to see my flag, the flag of my country sticking in that wall! Stay brutal and Heavy my friends, Burn My Eyes is definetly one of my all time albums, still remember like it was yesterday when it came out! Grretings and best wishes from Portugal 🇵🇹 🤘
I thought the last time I'd see machine head was last may but I'm wrong, glad too see a strong come back and hopefully I will be able to attend the London show 🤘🤘🤘
Logan, Chris!! ( O O ) super! I'am fan since 25th!!! and I was on the differents tours!! GO Machine head!! from France ^^ I still have my collector of "burn my eyes" CD album! my precious, (with 12 tracks, the last one is Alan's on fire)and he guitar part ^^ and I was invited by roadrunner France on the 1997 tour ^^
I was extremely disappointed with what was going on with MH and Robb in 2018... But I would NEVER ever have thought he would pull of something like that!!!! Hopefully this works!
Chris Kontos!!!!! Groover-Machine. The band was never the same since you left. Sad that Adam didn't make the trip with the rest of the band. I'm chillin' to see this!
This NEEDS to come to Australia! Missed Machine Head on the last tour and was so afraid I’d never get the chance after Phil and Dave left Now I could only dream of seeing Chris Kontos and Logan Mader in the flesh!
Dude Demmel is one of my all time favorite guitarists and when I heard the news I was a bit heart broken. Honestly though seeing how upbeat and stoked Robb is, I'm pretty hopeful for the future. I hope this the lineup that sticks. God bless from Denver, stay brutal dudes.

Gotta admit it's pretty cool seeing those guys back. There's definitely a sound that comes from Logan and Robb as a guitar pairing that I've missed in Machine Head. since The burning red came out it's kinda been missing that little something... Even on their more recent efforts Demmel's tone is just that little bit different. No disrespect to him, it's a great sound but I always preferred the original lineup sonically speaking. I'm knit picking here but that's my take on it.
Awesome! Saw you a year ago in Orlando. What an emotional experience for me. Rob, you said you heard me within the crowd "breaking through the barrier" as I keyed off in the silent intervals between crowd chants. What an epic night, thank you all.
O-M-G 😵 Logan and Chris back in MH... Google should make a Doodle 😁 I remember when I was listening Burn My Eyes from a stereo cassette using a walkman and earphones while riding a skateboard at age 14... There was no better sh*t. And now, nearly 25 years later, I can hear these guys live, it's like a time travel! I won't miss it, see ya in Gdansk, Poland! 🤘🤘🤘 Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast!

This is so cool, my mind is absolutely blown!! Would be so awesome if this was the new lineup for the next album. This would be the change Machine Head would need, it would give it new life. Chris is a beast on drums and Logan's style is bad ass. I don't know if it's in Logan 's style of playing to pull off Phil's Solo's and such on some songs if they were to stick with this lineup for live purposes but holy shit would it ever be insane if the new album would be with these two. Never saw it coming, maybe Logan but not Chris as well. Not a huge MH fan, but Logan really made the band interesting back in the day. Happy to see them play together again
After listening to Catharsis I’d rather burn my ears...hopefully having Logan and Chris back in the fold will help them rekindle the passion & intensity they had in the 90’s.
That Portuguese flag
Saw you in Paris back in 1995, smoked a joint with Logan Mader, best concert of my life!!!!!
Old school machine head, just like I prayed for
