So far, this is the best learning to play bridge video that I have seen. My aunt talked me into joining her bridge group, and I find it very complicated. One thing I learned, though, is that the suits lowest to highest are in alphabetical order, clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades.
I play a lot of card games but Bridge has always frightened me. You broke it down so well. Now that you have explained the basics can you get a little more into the strategy. I understand the card counting. I understand the trick taking. But I need to learn more about the bidding. And the strategy of what to play to control the game.
I agree with other comments, you have a way to present difficult material with simple approach. Not many videos are so easy to understand. Please, keep making other lessons. Your video is the best I came across so far.
i AM TAKING bridge lessons with one more to go but still very complicated language of bidding and communicating to your partner. Hope to see more videos. Don't life the sinister sound!!!
Bridge is great. When I was in college, a group of us learned how to play. We became addicted. On the weekends we would play all night. Nothing else mattered. We didn't want to stop to eat, LOL. We would switch partners. We got good at bidding and playing the cards. I was pretty proud of myself for delivering on dicey contracts. It was a fun time. Great game.
That has to be one of the most obnoxious transition sounds you could have chosen. I barely got halfway before I abandoned the video. Come on man, its borderline a jumpscare if you wear headphones. Not good.
That fricking sound between chapters of this video, its so grating, please don't use that anymore. Its like something from a horror film. Very good video tho apart from that.
That noise that you are playing between segments needs to be changed. I'm assuming a lot more people than just me listen to this on headphones or earpods and it's not a good noise and basically I'm going to stop watching because I just can't take it anymore. Looks like a good tutorial but not worth the ear damage
Here is a great book to learn to play Bridge - amzn.to/4amppfy [yes its an amazon book and i may get a commission but i recommend it]

thank you.
You are a very good teacher.I want to see more of your videos.
You have great skill relaying the rules and the logic to the game of Bridge. Please make more Bridge videos!! Thank you.
I am amazed at how you have simplified this first step for a bridge novice.. I would love to see the next tutorial.
bro that transition sound is sinister
headphone alert! OMG thats annoying
Yes please make more videos…. Your explanation is fantastic

Thanks! I finally understand what the bidding is all about!
Thanks for your video. I need more videos about bridge. Please, could you create more? I hope
My first lesson of bridge, I’m hoping to stick to it. Thank you.

I found this very helpful!!
Terrific lesson, hope you do more
I liked the layout of your presentation. the graphics are great.
Thank you very much!

Thanks so much for well explained video
great teaching . Id like to see more
Very nice tutorial. You explain things very clear for a begginer like me.
Very good video.
You are so good. I have downloaded your video. Have you done more? 😂
Do you have anymore bridge videos or is this the only one? I thought you did a great job explaining this part.
So far only this one. If there’s interest I’ll keep going
Great job.
Yes please teach us more you're such a good teacher
Could you please reupload this video without that transition sound? It’s killing my ears
Even if I like this video enough to recommend it I would not do so because of that noise
I just made a comment about the same thing. It made the video unwatchable.
Excellent commentary on the moves
Your video is the best!!!
Great explanation!
thank you you are very good
I love how in-depth you are in this video but the sound in between each section of the video is so jarring it's hard to watch and or listen to.
More, please!
Yes please make more videos….
in the Arabic game of bridge which is called terniep you start bidding at 7 then 8 etc seems silly to start at 1 but in reality it's 7
more videos please
You neglected to mention that the Dummy's hand is put down AFTER the opening lead by the player to the left of Declarer. This is VERY important!
Yes. Great point. I’m obviously only skimming the surface in this introductory lesson
I was taught that the first card had to be played before the dummy laid down his hand….good to know
This is a good lesson however that awful screeching sound in between lessons made it completely unwatchable.
I have changed that sound moving forward

Is there any Bridge game that you can play online or any app?
Yes, most famous is BBO-Bridge base online
@@mladenkelava I play on an app called Tricky Bridge. It's free & I think its good, especially for a beginner.
Been playing 15yrs, Bridge is a Head F--k ,i had Wins and come Bottom even more often, great game but so frustrating 😭
That fricking sound between chapters of this video, its so grating, please don't use that anymore. Its like something from a horror film. Very good video tho apart from that.
Sorry about that. I’m changing the sound moving forward
very cool, informing video but damn that transition noise is horrific
Why do they have to make 9 tricks, where is the 6 plus 3 coming from??
1 is 7 tricks, 2 is 8 tricks, 3 is 9 tricks, etc. they assume if you win the contract you will get 6 tricks in playing
I don't care for all the artificial bidding and only three of the four players play the hand on every hand.
There is a real art to bidding conventions that I just didn’t get into. People usually love bidding more than the gameplay.
