Nice upgrades! Always sucks to find a extra shift ball 😂 We run hydraulic brakes on our peerless 820’s in the stock location with a mini disk and calliper and custom mounting brackets Works amazing and keeps the calliper out of the way Almost impossible to hit it on a rock or drop down on it! Hydros the way to go tho, amazing control for crawling and great for high speed stops
Ive seen your set up before and love it, i always struggle to fit stuff on the dynamark chassis because of how goofy they are! Im so excited to have good solid brakes on this mowchine
You guys should do a group ride together! Both great builders and machine and big in the mower community! Understand its easier said then done but would be awsome! God bless you guys
Next time it fails possibly look into a built peerless 700 or t92 transmission with an automotive style solid rear axle... would even work with a possible 4wd setup
@@dodgeme1986truck you did state a built one and even a built 700 cant hold up to the larger aggressive tires i run, they are better suited for the racing world
Thank you! My boys and I were sitting at the table for the last 2 hours discussing what tractors they want to build. We all learned a lot over the last 8 months while building up the JD214. Definitely a lot of pros and cons with that chassis. My one son recently purchased a JD212 but has recently reversed his decision on building it. He saw every bit of time and especially $$ that went into that thing. He realizes he’s gonna need something a lot simpler to work on. Not saying he’s gonna grab a Dynamark, we asked you about it because the criteria for his build. We are looking into tractors that came stock with 820’s, 633’s, Wheel Horse Gear drives or even 2300’s. I think he’s got his heart set on the GT Murray that came with the 820. He’s been bit by the Mud Mower bug and he’s all in, even though he just recently broke his wrist riding. Anyway, thanks again for commenting back!! We are big fans!
@@Tennesseemountainhomestead i would not suggest a dynamark just due to the right foot clutch, GT murrays are a great platform! Be Destructive is currently selling “cactus jack” his murray GT offroader that got 3rd at ttc last year for $400 in king north Carolina, 820, kohler vtwin, atv tires! Turn key ready to go!
That’s a sweet deal no doubt, wow! However, he’s gonna have to earn the money to buy whatever tractor he eventually gets. He bought that 212 he was gonna build. I’m actually gonna buy it from him and keep it as yet another parts tractor. Once he gets a tractor, we will be doing a build series on it as well. We need to switch it up, there’s just to much green in our stable! 😅
After running Red through the water today, I realized my wet transaxle brakes are useless. May need to look into a brake like this. Great video.
So cool to see the MD with brakes! And glad it can be so narrow ! Thanks for the love
I gotta message you about some tweaks im in love
The thumbnail should say, Worlds greatest mower and builder
😎 really should say the worlds biggest pile of poo

700s are good for low torque applications like on racing mowers with small rear tires, 700s start exploding with large aggressive tires
@@redzz02 I did state a built one or a nice t92 with a gear reduction behind it
@@redzz02 they do like to be spun faster with more gear reduction behind them as well

Thats awesome man! Definitely a badass brake kit a lot better that the stock brakes, hopefully this 820 will last without shattering itself
Fingers crossed!
Glad you have brakes now!!! Any chance you have a hub for I think the 633a I was getting ready to lock it and broke one trying to get it off
Depends on what style it is

Was the Dynamark a garden tractor when it was new?
Lawn tractor, it had a peerless 930 series transaxle
