Reply to @@alliecastillon9337 -- God also says -- Not to eat Denoguan or Blood. The "tattoo" on your skin is far removed from being an artist. Majority of human-beings on Earth do not have TATTOO on their SKIN because they know Abnormal ang saktan ang Flesh or Skin ng Tao. Hinde normal Manakit ng Kapwa. Find another line of kabohayan para hinde ka magutom at may pera. Have you thought of applying for Jobs before? Would you like to be a waiter for a starter Job with pay and tip? How about working at the Airport to cargo passengers luggage onto the plane? Ewanan mo na ang Skin Tattoo na hanap-bohay -- walang Pera at maka-sal-anan sa Maka-Pang-Yaharihan na Diyos AMA. be blessed. jul2022.

That was a very nice tour. Imagine what Intramuros would look like if the Americans hadn't bombed/shelled it and the Japanese hadn't finished off the destruction. The Philippines has such a rich history and it's all embodied in these old buildings and structures. The government needs to do more to maintain them in pristine condition.

Not just Intramuros but what entire Manila could have looked like if the city wasn't destroyed during WW2. Unfortunately there's not much left to maintain.

Hindi po si Yamashita yung tinuro ng guard 😅 ordinary Japanese soldier lang yon. Iba ang itsura at uniform ni Yamashita, "well-decorated" si Yamashita becoz of his exploits and he doesn't guard cells like Japanese soldiers do since head nga sya ng Japanese Imperial Army. Despite it, very well researched po presentation nyo Sir Fern di nakakabore. Wish history teachers did the same thing. May I add also Intramuros used to have 7 churches before WWII now 2 na lang.

I first visited the Fort in 1991, after I married my Filipina wife up North in Tuguegaro, and I was so pleased to see it again in your documentary. It is still as magnificent as it was back then 29 years ago! Thank you and keep posting all these vdeos of these so memorable places, whom some of the younger generations fail to see their significance in history. We now live in Malaysia. Thumbs Up !!👍👍

I was still a kid the 1st time my father took us to Fort Santiago. It was way well maintained then. We went to Rizal's house (not sure if he was detained there) where they said he wrote his novels. There was a life size statue of Rizal in that house and some of his personal stuff. I also remember that they held Sarzuela (like a live opera show) in the premises. And we also saw the black car where the wife of Manuel Quezon, Aurora and her children was ambushed. You can see the bullet holes on the car. We saw the dungeon but it was closed not able to go inside. So this vlog is my 1st time to see what's inside it. I will definitely visit this place again when I visit Manila. Thanks for the memories!

3 days ago, I accidentally bumped into your vlog & since then I’ve been addicted. It’s just like re-learning a lot of Philippine history, some of which I didn’t learn in school. Not only it fascinates me but I find them very informative & educational. You must have spent a lot of time researching the facts & the history itself. Thanks to you!

Another nostalgic moment. My art teacher brought me there to represent our school on an " On the spot " painting contest when I was in grade two. Didn't win anything but the fun memories sure did stay with me. It was less ostentatious back around 1968. I also remember seeing those badly maintained Period cars belonging to prominent figures like M.L. Quezon et al. Pretty impressive! Again, thank you for sharing

You’re right! I didn’t know most of the information you revealed. But it’s so refreshing to know this fact of our history. Your coverage always contain wealth of information . I remember visiting Fort Santiago often when I was in college in the late 80’s .. it’s so nice to see it again ! Why is it that history is so much more interesting and fun when we get older??? And boring and could care less when we’re younger?🤦‍♀️

I have never had the chance to get into when I visited Fort Santiago in 2000. Intramuros changed alot that it is more interesting to explore now since they opened more of it's historical bldgs. and dungeons/chambers. Thanks again for another informative vid that I sure will add to the list of the places I will visit and revisit.

Pwede bang dumayo ka doon once of these days and feature the church and the old portions of the school?

I learned a lot from your detailed history & documentary of Intramuros; I did not even know the British came to Manila as well. We been invaded by different countries and our country been destroyed and rebuild several times. Thanks for the great share, I always visit that area every time I go on vacation to Manila. I hope i can be back soon.

Your vlog is highly educational especially the architectural history of buildings in metro Manila. Your vlog is unique and you should get more prescriber. If I'm teaching architecture in the philippines I'll add it as a subject for my student to watch and discuss it in my class.
More power to you and thank you!

Nice Dong pero madaming kulang. That wall looks like there were offices on top of it. And that governor mansion in front and around it should be included in the whole story of our history.
