This made me smile (and a bit teary-eyed). I can remember Christmas when my parents couldn’t afford the gifts that I asked for but found a way to get them anyway. I didn’t appreciate it then but now, as an adult and understanding sacrifice, I truly value the that effort my parents put into making sure I never went without. 😢❤
