Man I wished I applied earlier in my earlier 20s now I'm 29 by the time i even get lucky to fly any aircraft I'll by in my very late 30s with needing the degree and then training and even then it's all luck on what you get posted or you get posted for a squad

This is exactly where I am hoping to redirect my life/career. Helicopter flight interests me very much and flying S&R or coast guard would be great. I have been seriously considering the pilots paid education through senica college if I can take that path. Gotta make a trip to a recruiter in thunder bay though first.

I really want to be a pilot in the military. I'm in the highest level in grade 10 and passing with 90s.My number one goal is to be a pilot in the forces.

Hey Brett, I'm a 20 year old officer cadet in the CAF currently in school to become a pilot in the air force. Although I haven't started any actual flight training yet, I can give you a couple really important tips when it comes time for you to take your aircrew selection test (the big test that will determine if you are suitable to become a military pilot). Things you can do now to prepare are make sure you practice your mental math a lot, many of the tests require it and it will be incredibly important for your entire career. Another suggestion is to start using the memory trainer luminosity. This will help you develop good mental attributes such as memory and problem solving. My last piece of advice would honestly be to play videogames, personally videogames are the reason I have the hand eye coordination and spacial reasoning that is required. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any more questions.
      Cheers!

This is good advise. Also - get speedy at finding rows / columns on tables.

      Nico Paoletti Hey Brett,
I was wondering if there was a certain section of Math that Air Force Pilot applicants should focus on. Can you give me some tips on that please? Algebra/Physics? What would you suggest ?
I’ve heard that Luminosity was an excellent resource!
In regards to the CFAT for the pilot occupation, Applicants should score high on the Spatial ability is that right? Should they also score high on the Problem solving aspects? Can you shed some light on this?
Thank you for your help :) !!!!

I'm just finishing up my helicopter flight training, will be finished in a few weeks. I hear the forces are short pilots, so thats where I will go.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything - respectfully meant, but she's easy on the eyes too
