@@Sail-World His sponsors will be happy, which bodes well for his 2028 campaign, but it's not just that, he's following the footsteps of a previous Vendée sailor who inspired him in the same way in an earlier edition (I can't recall who it was).
I have so much respect for all of these competitors. Their ability to refocus and get to the task when something goes wrong is just plain inspiring. As far as being alone for over 60 days, I think I would either break or never want to go back to civilisation...
Being a Falmouth boy I have followed you throughout the race. Wow! in 4th then your Main rips, I was gutted, but you repair it, then the look of satisfaction on your face was amazing. Now go get 'em. But most of all congratulations especially as this is your first Vendée Globe, I hope it isn't your last.
How funny, to see preparing a supertasting Coffee ‼️ Great, that the burn of that paneel was'nt more dangerous and larger ‼️👏👍 And the video from the sunset, just amazing and unbelievable 👏🌅 My best wishes for all men and women ✊️✊️🤞🤞⛵️🌊🌐 And a Thank you again for your great report again. Heartly greetings again from Eckernförde/North-Germany 🫶👩🦳🌝💙
What a race and thanks to everyone for showcasing and showing what all the competitors are doing not just the top. Everyone is top of the line to do this alone in one shot.
I believe that a competition like VG compared to any other sport, although it has a ranking, attests that each participant is a winner in his or her own way. Therefore, we will follow the race to the last one who crosses the finish line. Each VG skippers is a wonderful winner and each story is unique.
Conrad, I've had the best coffee in Sicily so far, but now I have to try your TOMORROW. I'll be there at 4, okay? But seriously... great how you explained everything. Good luck with the wind, stay safe. 🍀☕️☕️⛵️🌞😎
Indeed, and his instructional videos on the rigging setup, making coffee, and sundry other things will be released on the "Conrad's IMOCA - the complete guide" in the near future 😂👌
Such remarkable people, all. One respects an international rugby ' player' .....perhaps, but these sailors are quite amazing, 😮😮😮❤ absolutely fascinating to watch and hear about
Conrad Coleman always has a good story to tell. One of my favourite sailors.
Completely agree! He's such a good communicator.

I've thought exactly the same. The time and effort dedicated to filming and educating is second to none.
Big fan!

Once again a wonderful selection of the different sailors, they each write their own story every day. Many thanks and warm regards.

I am in awe of what Sam has done. Completing a repair that big while at sea is incredible.
