What if; citizens or businesses were able to submit invoices to SARS for any service delivery work we carried out where the government had failed to deliver, and claim that back from our taxes.
They've said what they're going to do, doing it openly, just read their policies. The F up is due to these policies. Socialism is the stepping stone to Communism. Keep the masses poor and hungry.

That's why due to no maintenance the whole of KZN washed away...in this last rain...we have had rain like this in pass years..but our infrastructure was OK but without maintenance it had to crumble eventually 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I remember when I left South Africa about 15 years ago, then there were many slum areas "growing" around most towns and cities with people migrating from the rest of Africa. People were dirt poor then, and the ANC made promises to improve the lot of these millions of people. What kind of progress had been made by the ANC since. I also know that Ramaphosa spoke about Smart-Cities, Speed Trains, Electricity and Broadband for all, High rise Buildings with Building Cranes all over the landscape. Has this taken place yet? I also seem to remember something about new gas wells in the Cape peninsula.
In my area, in Germiston, we had to take matters into our own hands, because the area was facing rapid decline. It got worse as the area devalued, and people fled, then we had township kinds of people move into these cheaper houses, only to build illegal communes on them. 40 people on a small property. Crime went up, the infrastructure buckled, it got filthier, more people left, more township people moved in, and the cycle repeats. Since the start of the pandemic we tried to get the council in to force people to destroy these illegal communes, and build a fence around our neighbourhood. It never happened, it got worse, and now we face having to move out before the decay consumes us. Note we are under the DA, who does nothing to uplift my community, but are quick to try farm for votes.
@@michaellawson6533 Voting does mean something. Because it gives those who voice our concerns and ideas of how things should be done, a stage on which to do so. Otherwise if we're stuck in a notion that voting does nothing, being complacent in that, then how can we expect things to change? We would have no right to complain. And in this world any gap given due to passive behavior, leads to worse people taking advantage of the opening our choices creates. And then we would have no say, and then we would wish we had voted to begin with. Don't get me wrong if shit hits the fan in any way, I'd be the first to burn down government and hang politicians out for crows to peck at. And in the community we did quite allot, we managed to get al the pins standing up right, all we needed were people with the right authority and recourses to knock it down. Things we as everyday Joe's have no access to.
Ask those DA councilors to explain the situation. Instead of blaming them, ask if the ANC provides sufficient funding for them to do what is needed. Sars collects trillions, how much is returned to fix the mess?
I have a problem with my water account. The water people are sucking the reading out of thin air. I have bee trying for months for it to be rectified with no success! Who will be able to fix this account? There is nobody! They are incapable. Now they want to hand me over , what a joke. Howick KZN
I can't understand how a municipality can get anything less than a clean audit and the leadership faces absolutely no consequences for this. We're talking about public money here. Surely we can hold these people to the same standard as we expect from directors of public companies. If a director of a JSE listed company simply didn't bother complying with regulations they would be dismissed and possibly face personal liability. It doesn't seem unreasonable that municipal leadership, which has similar workforce sizes and budgets as public companies, should face similar consequences.
National Treasury has Asset Management Guidelines which, if complied with, would mitigate most of the problems Unfortunately the ANC regime imposed the highly complex metro municipal system despite warnings. The ANC cadres are more interested in name changes and building monuments to their heroes than providing services to the ratepayers
The main problem is that municipalities can not be held accountable. The legal system became unusable. Tshwane for instance declared themselves above the law and they do not accept court judgments against them. This is the official reason that the legal department head mr Robertson said in a board meeting and i have it on tape. For 12 years he is proudly in contempt of court and basically tell us all to go to hell he makes his own rules. Told the DA bulldog (Natasha Mazzone) and even she could not change his view. THATS YOUR PROBLEM !
Get out of SA. If you cannot, get to the Western Cape. If you cannot, get into an enclave. Best to get into an enclave in the Western Cape if you have to stay.
no...stay..its just being able to stand hard and fast for what's coming or going to occur in SA this year, from end December 22 the Anc runs away..see channel world events and siener van rensburg

It's time for South Africans to start voting for the DA which gets things done!! When our towns and cities work, the economy starts growing again, and jobs are created on a large scale!!
Best person should get the job. Regardless of skin color. All these race based laws have caused issues. ANC mismanagement is shocking. EVERYTHING THE ANC, UNIONS, SACP TOUCHES turns to rubbish.

Thank you ANC for racist policies - cader deployment, BBBEE, affirmative action. Viva !!
What if; citizens or businesses were able to submit invoices to SARS for any service delivery work we carried out where the government had failed to deliver, and claim that back from our taxes.
This has been done in some towns, cases have been won against the ANC.
I think they will just file X it.
People should demand a reduction in taxes.
We should stop paying rates till they tell us what changes they are going to do to fix them.

What about the municipality in KZN where the entire budget is used to pay salaries?

Why did you leave?
Literally none of the things you have mentioned have happened yet

Deregister from voting . Its means nothing and you are giving your rights to someone else to run it into the ground.
