- I'm back with more Console Wreckfest as i try to build a brute of a Limo, turns out with a few upgrades it really can just about destroy everything in it's path.

I got this game on the PC today. Was having huge amounts of fun and then my GPU died. Truly fitting for a game called Wreckfest.

How have you found the loading times?
@@Nickersons-Theme the day one patch must've fixed some of the loading times, they're much shorter than the one in his review of the game (I'm on a standard Xbox)

Crash canyon is very nostalgic since it's the same track in the flatout series. SO much shenanigans in one small track.
Youd think after 8 years on TH-cam Alex would know how to cut out failed intros by now :P

Yes! A Cadillac limo! Looks like it’s based off an O’Ghara one. I’ve actually got the entire front of one that I’m gonna hang on my wall soon. Redid all the wiring and brought it back to original and replaced most of the bulbs. It’s a 1988 front with a 1980 grille

Woke up this morning with my xbox telling me Wreckfest was ready to play! Great day to have pre-ordered a video game!
Cant wait for game tomorrow. Remember looking and seeing release date as May 31st , then December 31st and now is earlier than expected. Canr wait!! Great gameplay as always keep up!
That intro is basically what happens each video for most TH-camrs, gotta perfect it, accept he didn't cut out the first one.
I love your videos. They are so different from what is the norm on youtube. I gotta admit the full stream commentary is not necessary to keep us engaged.
I love this stuff and totally want more Wreckfest.
I think with the Wreckfest style of racing, you can definitely make a massive beast of a car more viable. In Forza or GTA car cushioning is not allowed (at least in your races) they don't work however In Wreckfest it is absolutely a viable strategy to draw alongside and use another car to improve your turns and tack off in the straightaways.
That limo looks like something right out of Mad Max, I love it!

The key to racing the limo is to be a total "muppet" and just kamikaze into the first corner and crash into as many front-runners as possible before holding everyone up behind you. The limo is going to be a nasty trolling machine for online lobbies.

I don't know why but this cracked me up.
Only in the world of Failrace does a Limo become Overpowered in a racing game.
Surprised there aren't any Chrysler Imperials in this, traditionally on the track these '80s Caddy limos tend to fold up when hit from behind.

I just bought the Deluxe version of Wreckfest last week, I've been waiting for someone to do a decent re-make of the Destruction Derby games which I used to play on the Original Playstation and in my opinion they've done an awesome job with Wreckfest !!
Thanks for the video as I didn't know that we could Mod and tune our cars in-game, not to that level of depth anyway, this game just got even better !!
I haven't been able to play the game too much yet (work's been crazy busy) but I'm looking forward to smashing some cars real soon, till then I'll enjoy your videos here on TH-cam, Cheers !!

I have the mud digger fully done armor and performance it's a beast for demolition derby.

The Mighty Limo calls for a multplayer event: all Killer Bees and/or Fireflies VS one Mighty Limo
On Wreckfest, I generally work to the ide of having 2 cars per class, a Wrecker and a Rod. I much prefer trying to drive clean and fast, but every now and then, you need some kind of reinforced hell beast, so you can just get out there and smack some fools around until they cry
Does anyone know if the console version will be splitscreen or can you only play multiplayer online?

Started playing this on early access last night and its soooo good!! A little buggy. Every time i finish a race for some reason there's no sound and the characters bug out but that's an easy fix I'm sure
