Fantastic video series I want to thank you for! I have a 15-year-old 137 I bought new but as an average homeowner have used it a handful of times in that span. The last time I wanted to use it, it would crank, rev high, and then immediately cut out. I followed your series and upon taking my carb off I found my fuel line had disintegrated entirely (no wonder it wouldn't run). I ordered a kit that included the carb for $12 off Amazon. The fuel line was way too big so per your instructions I bought some .08 x .14 from my local hardware store, and just got everything installed. It took a few cranks to get it going but it's working fantastic now. I imagine it will give me another 15 years.

Excellent series of videos, really well done and well explained. I just put a new fuel line and filter in my Husqvarna 136, and it certainly was 'cantankerous' as well as a few other things I called it. Getting the fuel line through from the carburetor compartment to the fuel tank was a major heartache. I finally put a 16 gauge wire up about four inches into the fuel line, fed that through, and then clamped it a few inches above and reached into the tank with long needle-nose pliers and pulled it through that way. Pushing it through was almost impossible. And I heated it to get it on the filter barb and on the carb. Now it runs like new. Thanks!!!

Great series. This is not a slam on you but I love that everybody on YT allways tweaks the carb off camera. Wheter its a chain saw, lawn mower or weed wacker. A person could do a whole series just on that step alone. lol

Only 93 likes 😔 Am I permitted to add 100? 🙂 It was really part 3 which was the magic element advising the correct size fuel line and the idea to slice it down to get it into the fuel tank from where it can then be pulled through. But on reassembly the rubber guide for the carb adjustment screws just would not sit happily ... so come check this and I was trying to put on the wrong way around! This video has now solved that small issue. Thanks SO MUCH for a couple of videos that have bee SO helpful 😊

In my related video, I address the high and low idle needle valves. I usually start with 1 or 1 1/2 turns. Then once it's warmed up, I tweak it to run better.
Mine started but stops after ten seconds have to pull it about 7times and dose the same thing
Hey hey ! I have that same saw here. I put all together and i do not know what i did wrong...because it will not start. It has spark. I somehow suspect...that the timing is wrong or perhaps the flywheel is fitting perferct...but actually are for another model....where coil is slightly different place...so timing be wrong. Do not know prehistory of the saw. Other...the engine and carburetor and coil is brand new from china ! Irritating. I do not know how to check the timing...that give spark i mean at the top point of piston in cylinder. Weird ...becaus i put gasoline straight in the cylinder...it has blue spark...but still do not suggest nothing...not even a small fart. Dead. New cylinder...allot of hpe and work huhhh... new lines as well. My first Husqvarna experience and it turn out to be a night mare. I did allot of stihl and jonsered with succsess of course. Huhh Someone help ? he he
