Never owned any but I grew up not far from Titusville where they are made. Not to far too up in Bradford where Case and Zippo are from and pretty sure Kabar is right over the border from there in Olean too. I am more into modern stuff. Most of my knives are Benchmade, ZT, and Spyderco but I have plenty others. Bought a Proper and some other traditional type knives with modern materials maybe I will have to get some of the local stuff now lol. I do have all my grandpa's knives too. Not sure what they all are I know a lot of them were Case or Buck but some are pretty old that he bought in the 30s. Would have to look through them again to see what I even have.
I'm from PA myself... Lock Haven to be exact. I started with the modern stuff too but something about traditional knives really scratched the itch, and GEC have the best quality. thanks for watching and for the comment.
@@GatewayEDC I have actually lived on the coast of SC for 20 years now and have my house on the AL Gulf too but my parents are still in NW PA and I am actually up there right now. Case or Gec either one though or Kabar are all within probably 50 or so miles from their house where I grew up. I have a few of the modern traditional knives from Lion Steel, Benchmade, and We that are all pretty awesome but I guess they aren't exactly the same but they have that great M390 or think the Proper is s90v all are CF and or titanium couple are titanium and micarta too.
Northwood Knives are only available thru "Knivesshipfree" and sellout in minutes. You can get GEC knives through several sources. Their Website has a list of distributors.

Wonderful collection, thanks for sharing! I'm currently trying to get hold of one of the #47 Vipers.
Yea, liking sway backs since I got the ramsfoot in hand. Good like with the viper and thanks for watching.

Benefit of being in a knife club... traded with a member. Cost me a burlap delta jack. Do be honest, we each had duplicates. Thanks for watching.

I hope GEC never makes another Northwoods knife ever again.
