    One of the commentators was really annoying. Who are you to say what distances Mo should or should not race? Great race anyway, thanks for the upload.

      Thats true I mean the commentators may be Olyimpiyans but still Mo Farah Is one of the nest runners ever he won the London half Marathon this year He just needs to train a little bit harder and focus more on longer distance and he will get that win for the Marathon.

    I love how Foster thinks the only runner who matters in this race is Mo. He's asking other runners to work with him? Why would they? They had their own aspirations and Mo winning probably wasn't one of them.

    This commentary was horrendous. Why was all the attention being directed towards Farah? The Mutais, Kipsang and Biwott all ran timing superior to his. I understand that he’s a double Olympic Track Champion who’s attempting a marathon debut but still pay some attention to the other runners. As for all you British fanatics who are obsessed with how perfect of a British Somali Farah is, shut up. They were simply expressing their opinion. Learn like children to respect it. Either case the commentators should’t have all been British. All those other runners directed their full efforts to this marathon, finishing it faster than Farah, yet the latter is the one who receives all the attention. Utterly outrageous

    Great race - supremely annoying commentators. Mo did very well. Fact is he did manage to catch a lot who were in the lead group. Shut up about advising Mo to go back to the track etc. Shut up please. It is not your place. Mo did an amazing job and you could have commented on that; instead you spoke about Mo's race like it was an abject failure. It was his first marathon!!!! In fact he dragged Geoffrey Mutai out of oblivion and into 6th place one spot ahead of Emmanual Mutai, which at one point seemed like an impossibility. Mo finished only seconds out of 6th place in the toughest field ever assembled. Well done to all but the commentators who need to learn to be more positive and to see a bit deeper into the race and stop focusing on superficial crap (i.e. Mo needs to get Britain more Olympic medals because that is what we want, who gives a turd what Mo might want).

    Farah's close is great, but obviously only about 1% of a marathon would be the close. Basically the range that would be the best for him would be 3000m-half Marathon, in my opinion.

    • @DrReddit
      @DrReddit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, if he pushes his limits in the half marathon, he could get really good times.

    As impressive as his times are, I think Farah’s marathon results show that he can’t really compete when in a field with quality like this. He’s going to struggle against the likes of Cheptegei, Kipruto, Barega etc. at Tokyo

    This was not a good debut for Mo Farah, as he could have paced his race better by enjoying a confidence boost with the leading pack. Not a fast pace for him and holding on would be easier if your competitors are surrounding you. What he did instead was to get himself isolated and struggling in no-man’s land for a large portion of the RACE. And yes it was a race, not a solo time trial which he seemed to be going for by ignoring the initial fast pace.

    • @seer1623
      @seer1623 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tom Lau Well said, he did treat this more like a time trial. Just poor tactics. We still don't know if he's wired for marathoning. Half marathons, yes. But this is a different animal.
