The Silver Compass relic - in the special room after the boss - is slightly mistranslated. It's actual effect is to guarantee a chest or curse removal statue in every room. It says 'the next room' , but that means 'every next room' :P
The wand with the mana regen was a giant upgrade. It would have given your grimoire a ton more mana regen and slots. Not sure why you left it on the ground. Even without considering the mana it was still way more slots.
So nice to watch your journey through this game. Keep going and play lots of runs off screen as well. There is SO much to learn and try out. The damage numbers can get into millions of dps - and even still keep your framerate up. In my most awesome game so far I managed to beat the very last opponent without even moving or touching my mouse/keyboard while just face-tanking him. It was so beautiful and rewarding... Make this game your main game for the channel and you got new content for month. Also, do you want to be backseated in any way or strictly not?
In the camp when you go to the right there is an opening between the trees. There is NPC there that has all the spells and wands that you collected. And you can try some builds :)
FYI capacity stone is basically always an upgrade. If you put it in with a damage up you're getting +1 slot with no downside. If you can get a + version of either it is all upside. Another note, one you even mentioned, was the random element wand making the poison boost pointless. You noticed and brought it up but kept removing other things.
it doesnt exactly cancel out a dmg up. but pretty much yeah. the biggest benefit of it would be on builds that doesnt rely on final dmg. like poison fx. also for the 2nd part of your comment. even if the wand also applies poison, the poison boost isnt pointless, far from it. stacking poison is strong.
@@OMFGcataFAN1 I'm pretty sure the random element from the wand overrides the poison element. Once he switched wands it makes sense, but I believe (I could be wrong) that you don't get poison PLUS the random element, just the random element.
@@jasonnewman3355 tested on the dummys just to be sure. and it looks like you do keep the poison and it does also stack if your random element is poison.
@@jasonnewman3355 So I've just done some testing Using Condensed Water Bubble (100 DPS) on The Nameless (no wand/spell alterations) using 1 capacity and 1 damage up drops the DPS to 94 and 2 of both drops it to 85, but having 1 of both as the + will increase it to 120. Also used the Bouquet with 2 poison++ and doing single shot Magic Bullet was able to freeze/slow/burn but also apply 8 poison with the same shot, so it seems they both apply. Pretty good considering I was also under the assumption that the random element replaced the spell.
Here is a tip, at 1:31:25 you put the Energy Saving Mode (battery) into the Secondary Slots, you shouldn't. The beauty of Secondary Slots is that they DON'T cost MP, so you would be unnecessarily reducing your summon spells damage outputs and duration with no apparent benefit. Also, the benefits from all the passive spells in Primary Slots do not get carried over to the Secondary Slots.
@parkerault2607 That's only effective for active offensive spells, particularly the high costing spells like Ray of Disintegration. It is a huge waste for summons since there is a summon limit, you can only summon so much until you start killing off the old summons automatically for the new summons once the limit is reached. EFfectively, you're reducing your damage output since the summon limit is your limiting factor.
"The beauty of Secondary Slots is that they DON'T cost MP" That's pretty much a half truth. Spells in secondary slots don't use MP from the wand but have their own MP pool (the cost of all spells combined) and MP generation and once it reaches 100% will cast, similar to how the grimoire works. So having Energy Saving Mode does work in in secondary slots. There's also a few other things to take into account: 1. When entering a new room the summoned creatures don't follow so he starts from 0 every room. 2. Both the summons can be used to block enemy projectiles and grab aggro, so getting them up quicker can help. 3. He's destroying everything quick enough that he's pretty much done before he reaches summon limit.
@@sharinganspog1. This is true as the summoning will be faster but it is only useful in the beginning of each stage. But as i said in my other response, the cost for the 2 summons, given their ranks and MP cost, are too low to benefit from it, netting around a 0.76s difference for a 40% decrease in damage. This small difference could be helpful when you are using a pure summon build instead of a hybrid. 2. Feasible, but if the true intention is using them as shields, you should go with a single Pop instead of 2 summons as you can mass produce them easily. If they are part of your offense, it's better to use an upgraded battery instead. I always do this with a spare wand for meatshields, coupled with Parasites is great. 3. That is the whole point, he isnt a pure summon build.
The Resonance Rune only has a chance to cast when you cast with a wand. But your Plague Tome was constanly casting spells thats why it seemed like it was better then the Wand Spirit.
That wand really does only apply colors to the spells, not elemental effects. Also, the well rooms will complete the greedy seed relic. Also also, the wand that increases regen when you're not holding it is excellent for wand spirits and auto cast. Also Also Also, at the end you would have been much better off using the expansion stones to stack poison on your main wand.
Game devs are geting moronic. How these SysReq(Intel Core i5-3470, 32 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1050) are recomended for 2D game? You can almost run black ops 6 on that 🤨
It's annoying how you turn off thinking sometimes... Like not using doubling potion for hp gains; being surprised that ++ is better than regular spell and wasting ++ for secondary wand; not reforging/combining enough (you could get ++ lightnings much sooner); why using poison on one-shoting skill? etc. etc.... eh
The damage teleportation reaction was hilarious... "WHAT!?! WHAT!?!? Ohhhh.."
Seeing the skeletal centaur getting bodied in 5 seconds: "Man the regular enemies on this stage are getting a little tougher... Oh that was a boss."
You can apply discount potions on the relic room too to save more max hp.
Crazy how much content you put out man, and so many new games. I look forward to your videos every day!
you keep pumping videos on regular basis. you will grow big eventually. keep up the good work bro.
His output is crazy

Yes, those white orbs are the magic bullets from Demonbone Tail. They even store from bosses, which can be in the millions
Bro, your spells cover the entire screen. At that point, remove the tracking effect. It's essentially useless

That wand with the mp regen while not holding is great when being controlled by the wand spirit.
Cub: So I made this lightning build
Game: Puts me one step closer to the edge, AND I'M ABOUT TO BREAK!
Day 2 of letting you know there is a spell transparency slider in the menu

That's not a thunderstorm, that's a bloody cataclysm, for the enemies and the framerate as well !

That huge regen when not equipped wand is busted with the autocasting mods.
For that demon tail relic, it's magic bullet like the starting spell, magic bullet.

19:27 teemo's hat is here 😅
Nice run man. Already looked a lot better.
First. Let's go, cub!
You can equip one staff with indiscriminate damage to pop the iron chests 🙂 Meteor or Rolling Stones
Can you tell me the music you are using? Reminds me of something else.
You poisoned the crap out of the final boss. That's why he went down so fast. 😊

@Cub I like the way you play these games 😊 maybe you should ask AMD for a Sponsorship of an Ryzen 9800XD3 CPU 😂
u gotta remember the starting orb spell makes enemies take more dmg
so many possibilities, cool game!
This game looks so great
13.123 of Poison DoT, that's how u killed the final boss XD
Ye, I thought Boss was invulnerable during that phase where I need to take out the 4 tentacles in the corners. But I guess Poison still works 😄
you did die at the end. but your relic saved your ass
The hourglass disappears when that happens, and Cub took practically zero damage against the Lord - boss just got chunked by poison and gg. :D
You, so funny.
Wink. Wink. Wink.
Okay I just cheated the algorithm. Lol.
Exploring the unknown is awesome.
Two choices at the end. So paradoxical. Perhaps it doesn't matter?
Random, not so random.

Cub have you tried noita? If not I think you may need to 😉
You can spam 1 click-2 click-3 click for using every wands you have 🤣

Damn wish I had the money for this one
You need a seizure warning at the start of this video :D
