So many memories have floated past over the past night!! I remember when Pat got that car he said “So what do you think, You like it!!” I smiled I was still a kid 18 Yea Pat!! I sat in that front seat so many times and to think that night that POS BACKSTABBER CROW was the setup Guy!! CHARLIE, I never liked that asshole he just stared!! Yea all those Fucks Red Pontani my neighbor!! Danny Muccie!! Yea I remember now a few months before Pat got clipped a cold day I was hanging on the corner with a couple of my friends he picked me up we took the normal off the beaten path drive for about a half hour and we drove by the cemetery and he looked and said “I’m going to be there one day!” I think I said something to the fact “yeah aint we all” not thinking he knew what was happening and going on in his life!! So odd how almost 45 years has passed and I still remember!!
SCARFO also got 0.20¢ a ton of every piece of steel that went into every building in AC during the 1980’s along with Tommy Kempner the BA for Ironworkers local 350!! Not to mention the weekly payment from each Ironworker except for the 60 members of local 350 who did the collecting from the floater’s the payment was for Kempners Birthday his New Dog, His Christmas and Easter gifts! The elbow was $20 a week on top of the weekly assessments to the local!! Half went to the Dwarf of Georgia Ave. Now with 200 Ironworkers on all the sites that’s pretty good for a week!! And if you refused to pay?? Don’t bother coming back to work Monday morning and stay out of AC for ever!!
The gas scam by MF was soo much more lucrative as far as size and money. Not taking anything away from little Nicky, but 20cents a ton is nothing compared to 20cents a gallon when u got 100 gas stations pumping over a million gallons combined.
@@jimdively414 yeah probably but there was also a lot more involved in Mike Franzese scam and a lot more overhead involved! Also the 0.20¢ was Scarfo’s end Kempner got 0.10¢ on the ton!! Now when you think of just the rebar footings that go into the ground that most people Never see and usually has to be the same estimated load of finished building to hold the weight and remember a #8 = 1 inch and @ 2.64 lbs. to the foot that’s a lot of tonnage and then there’s the Structural Steel and metal Decking and you don’t have to set up a dummy company and bank accounts along with buying and selling!! You just have to look at the manifest and packaging label or the Architectural Prints do some simple math and hand over the cash of each load that comes in daily and trust me 10 - 20 loads of Steel coming in per day!! And stuff that envelope ✉️!! Sure it’s probably not as lucrative as the Gas/Tax scheme of Franzese but the Philly family was about 1/10th the size of Columbo’s! So it works out as pretty good!! Also SCARFO NEVER was changed with this deal!! But Tommy Kempner end up doing 5 years and walked into history with a good few MILLION!!

Sure he made GOOD MONEY, but it’s done!! And he got Pinched!!
@@jimdively414did you actually know that MF was only the Colombo point of contact for the gas scam?! Anthony Casso was actually the first member of Cosa nostra to be approached by the Russian Marat Balugla who was getting threatened and shook down by the Russian mob from Brighton beach. MF takes far too much credit
