im just thinking about how these people out there are so talented and doing what they love whereas me lying in the bed surfing through youtube doing nothing. this actually makes me want to be more active and motivated . tq for this video
keep in mind these people started skiing at 5 probably and dedicated all their lives to ski since 3 or 4 decades; you don't need that kind of pro skills to enjoy snow and ski/snowboard
A key part is landing on your back, to reduce the pressure on certain points of your body. If he landed on his feet, his legs would just go straight into his stomach. Of course 4 ft of snow to land in also helps...
Well first off it's powder so it's much more forgiving then piste, like a huge fluff cloud. Two he is not landing on flat but on a huge include which means he slides into the landing like an aeroplane not like a basketball bounce.

Thanks for reminding me I've wanted private ski lessons for over ten years. I'd love to test the limits of my Irish child-bearing hips. It's almost impossible for me to fall over on the slopes, engineering-wise. This looks so fun!
Wholly crap...how they do the back flips has to be timed perfectly. Best I've done was the climax at Blackcomb and I was scared shitless. At my age, not sure if I can repeat the feats I did but you guys definitely went beyond.....stay alive!

Even if you get on first tram, patrol, lessons, VIPs and Teton Gravity peeps all get on an early tram and track it out before regular people get a chance. It is about 80% dudes and not many women.

I stayed in a teepee over the summer in Kelly Wyoming right outside of Yellowstone and every morning I woke up I opened up the flap on my teepee and there was the Grand Tetons capped in snow and morning steam rising from the Snake River with moose, eagle and every Wild creature that roamed the wilds😁Every day was like a heavenly dream and postcard perfect.
I've skiied all over the west but the last time I did Jackson Hole was spring break "86........need to get back there before I get any damn older. Ha. Great video !
