It was known for being a low cost to do business and on Saint Lawrence Boulevard. The area is home to numerous Chinese businesses, restaurants, herbal stores, and grocery stores.

The beautiful gates were conceived by the Shanghai Institute of Landscape Architecture, all of its materials (concrete, gold leaf) are from Shanghai. They were built in 1998 by the city of Montreal in collaboration with her Twin City Shanghai. 7 artisans from Shanghai Park Services contributed their talents to the decor: Shen Jianping, Zhang Guibao, Zhou Hua, Yao Huichun, Peng Xiaodong, Sun Weiguo, and Xu Wenkui. This information is from the metal plaque filmed by ActionKid in this video. It was a great idea to zoom in on the gate and the lion at the end of the video. ⛩💕
