      Could you park at a monorail resort and eat at a quick service like Contempo Cafe or do you need a dining reservation for table service?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need a dining reservation to park at a resort. Sadly, they will not let you in if you ask to eat at the quick service.

    Long trips become so much easier and more fun when the kids are older. I have a 10 y.o. and a 13 y.o. and honestly, Disney has become better the older they’ve gotten. We typically do a big 10-day trip during spring break and then two smaller trips (long weekends) during the fall/winter. We own DVC, so gotta use those points! :) It gets sooooo much easier, I promise. lol

      So good to hear this! 🙌🏼 I know I’m just a few years, we’ll be able to enjoy longer park days again, and hopefully longer trips again too ❤️

    I love hearing different perspectives! For us, with a now 6 and 3 year old, we prefer longer trips. We did 8 nights this spring (kids were 5 & 2). If we’re going through all the hassle of flying, transfers; etc, we want it to be be for a bit of a longer trip. We made sure to schedule pool days and half park days with pool in the afternoon to allow plenty of rest. We are lucky that our kids are content to nap in the stroller! We’re doing 7 nights this July, so we’ll see how it goes at these ages lol

    Just wanted to comment about the toddler bed situation. At Disney you can request bed rails for littles! We did that and it was perfect!

    I planned the same thing for our trip in two weeks! We have a dinner reservation at Steakhouse 71 before we spend the night at MK. I also made a reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe on our resort day off so we can visit the gingerbread house before we spend the evening at Disney Springs.

    I think the Resort check-in tip is accurate. We waited all day at Beach Club then hubby and I ordered drinks and we got our "room is ready" text 30 mins later.

    We are coming over from the UK in August. We have been watching your videos and they’ve been so helpful. Thank you for all the help!
    How hot is August?
    Best wishes x

    That theory is definitely true! They also can tell when you go into the app and check to see if a room has been assigned yet. I had a split stay this week and on both check-in days I checked my app first thing in the morning and immediately after got an email saying “we’re still working on your room” and then 30 minutes later had a room assigned.

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! Checking the app for your room number is a real thing! I never get those “we’re still working on your room” texts until after I check the app 👌🏼

    Early checkin: I think you’re right. I got an early check in at the contemporary at 12:30 bc I spoke with the cast member and then was shopping and eating at the resort

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      So interesting! I’m feeling more confident this is actually true about early check ins, and not just a coincidence!

      I’ve read stories of cars being towed so this makes me nervous

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! It’s definitely a park at your own risk scenario 😅 But it’s always worked out great for us!

  • @briandahernandez8862

    Your Theory makes sense! We checked in at 12 at the front desk and they were able to get us a room early.

      So interesting! I forgot to share another story of when we checked in at GF earlier this summer and didn’t arrive until 8pm, we didn’t get a room text until 7pm 🤨 I’m really convinced this theory is true!

    The person along about two naps... Go to Disneyland. Or try for one good nap in the room and one stroller nap per day.

    Hey Bekah! Thanks for this video :)
    Quick question, is the fantastic dinner package pre-paid for like the dessert parties?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not pre-paid, but it is pre-fix ☺️ So you pay your check like a normal dining reservations 👍🏼

    Any tips for packing for split stays? We’re doing a split at the poly and beach club next November

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Packing cubes 🙌🏼 They make it so easy to just zip everything up and toss back in your suitcase. I also have a reusable bag with me to toss any groceries, drinks, or smaller items in during the transfer day.

    How hard is it to rent DVC for a 7 night stay? Would it be more likely we’d have to stay between two resorts?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you submit your request to rent points 11 months out, you shouldn’t have an issue ☺️

  • @ellieippolito3437
    @ellieippolito3437 ปีที่แล้ว

    Where did you rent the DVC points from?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We rented directly from an owner this time, but typically we rent points through David’s Vacation Club Rentals ☺️
