Not the entire show, there's a lot of things the comic hook strays from within the show. Example, the book Andrea goes no where near Woodbury, and doesn't even meet the governor. Yet in the show she bones him. In the comic Sohpia wasn't found in the barn, in fact she does get the prison I think? So the comic isn't always the one to follow.
