Having gloves accessible is so important! An idea shared with me a few years ago was to put each pair of gloves in a zipping type sandwich bag so when you grab them you get just one pair without all the others sticking to them and falling out of the kit and it gives you a place to put dirty gloves sealing in the "goo" until you get to a place to dispose your waste.
I like the idea of using the soft tackle box. I used a tool box for my family one but I like the compartmentalization ability of the tackle box better.
You got it covered! Got me thinking about that angle too now. I got a big standard box kit, which could be doing with adding some extras to it Cheers m8!
Wow. Love the setup. Very organized. I keep a tourniquet and Israeli bandage on my Person and a small fak in my edc bag including mole skin for my feet. Thanks for the vid.
2 tourniquets made from para cord and compression bandages are in my vest pockets . One of the best tourniquets and for holding compression bandages in place is made from tights .
Just as a side note: for anyone raising money for a group; One of the best received and supported fundraising I have ever been a part of was 1st aid kits. We did very well on them - there is more than one company that does this so look around. People truly were very happy to buy them many bought themselves extras to give as gifts. So school, scouts, cadets or whatever leaders take a look into it... I felt much better doing this than selling chocolate bars.
Great job thank you for sharing glad to see you're still making videos. I'm over here listening to your video while bandaging up my own toe from a toenail removal surgery less than a week ago. The care kit the doctor gave me wasn't even close to being what was needed so I had to get into my own first aid kit take care of the need of the toe so it stays clean. Decided to get that toenail taken care of for any major event happens so that way my feet are in good condition. Stay safe.
Good kit. I found horse wrap via Amazon for making bandages. I cut my hand really good last week and when I got home I washed it out good, applied some anti-biotic cream (and not my wife's tooth glue like I've done before) put a square gauze pan on and wrapped it up with the horse wrap, putting the tail end back under the wrapping to secure it.
They're very well contained and bagged, I like them, reminds me of an expedition med bag for remote areas. Very good. Many Items here are pretty hard to get, particularly antibiotic related items or IV bags. I like to have numerous kits in various locations - Good to grab or tell someone to grab when things get tense. Great job and good to see. Many thanks.
Those are some amazing First Aid Kit you have put together there. I am at work today so it was very hard to hear what you are saying so if you covered any of this this I am sorry that I am repeating it. 1st aid kits should be for your own needs - such as I don't have any venomous snakes here so a snake bite kit isn't useful for me in other areas it would be a must. Remember seasonal changes mean supply changes. You may want an extra heavy pair of gloves like dish washing or slash proof ones if you can afford them in case you need to work around broken glass or sharp metal like at a car crash. Take a 1st aid course the best one you can. I wish they taught it in schools would be more useful than some of the other stuff they teach our children.
Great tips and nice kit you have. Going to get some of that Dermoplast. 👍 Looks like a good product to have. When it comes to medical stuff there's so much I don't know. One thing I'll never be without is Emetrol, for nausea and vomiting. It stops it in minutes. Was recently sick as a dog from Vertigo and needed it but I'd thrown our expired bottle out and hadn't replaced it. My bad! Blessings.
After watching this video I'm ashamed with what a carry . I have bandaids , Neosporin, Benadryl, sting Ez and Aleve that's what I have carried for myself .
Don’t feel that way, you have a start. That’s why I did the video, to share ideas. Hopefully my video gave you some ideas to be beneficial to you and yours. Thanks for watching.
It is a start - "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" Don't waste time beating on yourself use that time for research, planning and then action. The research and planning will save you both time and money in the long run. Do as much as you can when you can, it may take year(s) to get a really good kit together but you will get there - also take a 1st aid course when you can.
Noxema ! I can’t believe I forgot that in my burn pouch ! Works a treat on sunburns 😄 Thanks for the video !

Yes Vet wrap is good to go. I have some in my extra stuff. I get it a tractor supply.

Awesome kits. Never seen that oxygen boost. What’s the anti-parasite stuff?
You can get the oxygen at Amazon or places like Cabelas. The anti parasite is Fenbendazole.

Hello 👋🏻 Good Information. May I suggest Liquid Bandage. I also have the Same Tackle Box, I use for my First Aid Kit. Thank you for Sharing 😁
Yes, that would be a good addition.
Where did you get those plastic boxes from? Thanks great video
They are trays for tackle boxes. They come in different sizes. Any fish and tackle store or department should have them. They are made by Plano.
I Bought the Same One from Walmart. FYI, I would Purchase 1 Know before the Season is Over 😁
