In my experience, people who accuse others of talking too much are always the people who can't invest enough time, effort, or energy into anything to actually excel at it. I and others appreciate the time you take to share information with us. It's a strength, not a weakness, thanks for what you do. Just be yourself and don't worry about those people. Great video, here’s why:
    1. “Pest Control is a 2-way street, if you don’t do anything to help get rid of them (deep clean, put dishes away, etc) pest control is a half-measure”
    2. Rotate different products in different areas - Roach eggs hatch faster in warmer temperatures so be sure to treat around light switches and electronic devices in the kitchen.
I like this guy, he’s not giving you the how-to from start to finish, he’s giving you the tradesmen wisdom with a chill approach.

In Canada in the '90s the exterminators used a putty called "Blue Diamond" . The bug guy said it was tested so they would go for this putty before any food source or whatever. It worked wonders! Was safe for, pets, you didn't have to rearrange your apartment for treatment, and a second application was almost unheard of. Im sure its long gone now and they are immune to it, but it was a great alternative to chemical sprays🤷‍♂

Mostly in the areas where we keep our cats food at and in the kitchen. We've been using those roach boxes and they do capture some of the roaches if they crawl in them. But we're still seeing baby roaches and we dont know where their nest is. Can you give us some advice on what to do? Thanks! 👍🏻

I have watched and read an unbelievable amount of roach fixes. You are one the first who is giving solid advice that I can use. Like names of chemicals that work. I am going use the index taco thing with my boric acid recipe. I do have some IGR arriving from Mexico. It makes a lot more sense put the stuff exactly tight dark places where they like to be rather than paper plates. I have a small infestation and currently moving towards the bedroom. Do you think I can find an answer on the internet on how protect your cat's food and water? No. The advice is put it up high at night. They are crawling down from upstairs. They start up high. I have eliminated food and water sources and last night I found 2 nymphs crawling sideway at eye level crawling towards the bedroom. I think that even though her food and water are sealed in tupperware at night they can still smell it. That or they smell her poop box which is now in my bedroom. How am I supposed stop from getting into that? Anyway, now I can try these chemicals. I currently have insecticide from Amazon that is 3% lower in strength than the percentage needed to kill cockroaches. I soaked 8 litres of this into my apartment before I looked up what percentage is required to kill roaches.

Thanks Jason. Here is my problem I am a bird breeder. I have my aviary in the basement. I have over 100 birds. Been breeding in my basement for last 5 yrs no pest problem. This year they did major roadwork in my block in early May and noticed roaches in my basement. I was complacent since I never dealt with them before. A few in May turned into an infestation come early September. They were an army of roaches so many they were coming out at day and found some in attic. What I did was treat the whole house (but most heavily in bird room) with advion. I tell you I never seen so many dead roaches. I also bought and applied gentrol IGR discs all over the place. I bought bengal gokd roach spray and plan to spray all cracks. Further once done treating will use boric acid via a duster and dust lightly as you mentioned in other videos. I plan to use DE in bird room ( already use for bird mites). House is old so plant to fill up any cracks. Next month will swap gel bait with Alpine (unless you recommend other). Birds only getting seeds however they poop and I believe the roaches probably eat that. Another thing the bird room has plenty of water feeders since I cannot remove them from birds. I plan to call an exterminator as well. If any other advice you can share would be most helpful. Your videos are most helpful. Want to eliminate these bugs

Let me rephrase…I don’t recommend someone who hasn’t had professional teaching to dust for roaches. Using a pesticide dust inside your home can be very dangerous to yourself or others living there. Dust even after applied can get stirred up into the air and poison someone. It’s happened to me when someone went into a home prior to me and I had no idea until I was sick that night.

Luckily I don't have german roaches but I do have the bigger ones living in Florida that is no surprise....I don't like spraying a bunch of pesticides so I tried "Lemishine" foaming bathroom cleaner when I spotted one in the bathroom and it worked...it was dead within minutes ..I also used it on a wasp nest under the carport and the result was the same..dead wasps in minutes...is it the citric acid in the cleaner? Either way I'm happy with my discovery, it's cheap and multipurpose.

Hi there.. i wanted to ask, what about the baby roaches, and if you don't know where their nest is. I havent located a nest, so will this dusting work if you haven't yet located the nest?
To be honest, i got so fedup with them that i boiled a big pot of water, added a cup of Borax to a bucket, pored the boiling water into the bucket, about half full, and poured it in behind the fridge so it would catch them off-guard.. and it did, they all came rolling out, dead, with the boiling water/borax. So, i ended getting a lot of them, but they're still around. I'm now going to try what you suggested with the duster and Boric Acid, if i can find it. I have Borax but not Boric Acid. I'm in Ontario Canada, and can't find it anywhere locally, so i guess im going to have to order online, which sucks b/c its pretty expensive. Most likely worth it though. Thanks for your video, it was very informational 😊

Im not sure if i have a roach problem. Maybe you can tell me. I saw my first roach about 6 months ago. Since then, ive seen 3 more. All during daylight hours. All in very different places in my very very small home. After the first one i sprayed with an all-purpose bug killer with geraniol and lemongrass oil. Is rhere an army of roaches hiding in my home? I did have neighbors move in just about the time i saw my first one, but they live approximately 1k feet away from me. Im on a fixed income, so not wishing to spend a fortune on pest control, but will spend if i have to so as not to have a problem. They are eithe american roaches or pennsylvania wood roaches, large brown roaches with almost iridescent wings, and they do fly. Wings are very round at the back end, if that helps. Please, please, Pulleese…. Tell me how to get rid of drain flies or those pesky gnats that hang around my sink. I think I figured it out by ALWAYS pouring out dishpan water and not leaving any wet surfaces ( dishes, countertops and around the sink area ). I recently had a “💡” idea, which is to pour BOILING hot water down both sink drains ( running garbage disposal side and regular sink drain ). I do this after all dishes and pots have been washed. Pouring at least 2 pots of BOILING hot water down the drain with the garbage disposal running before turning off the kitchen light and leaving, seems to have eliminated them. However, it’s a 50 year old bad habit of “leaving dishpan water in the sink” for the next day, henceforth no boiling hot water treatment. SO I must and have to be diligent to pour it out every night. I do Know that this really works as long as I’m consistent 😅 It has been several months and no drain flies or gnats, yay!Any further advice or tips for drain flies???

Lol the over talking seems unavoidable. It seems more succinct then other TH-cam educational videos I’ve
    seen

I’ve tried shorter videos and all I get is questions I don’t address so I felt the need to be long winded on this one. If people want a shorter version I have those on the channel too

imagine having to get rid of these things plus bed bugs, plus fleas all kept to low amounts to where I see RARELY a big roach, the rest are small nymphs in my bathroom, you try not using DE living with this and I cannot leave this INFESTED apartment with holes in the walls where cuttings were bad like the shower, light sockets etc, I buy crossfire every 2 months, it just keeps them away until I am out of the stuff, the roaches are so obviously coming from the walls, of course the bed bugs are too. Detroit is nasty man. I assumed this was not a social issue "it can happen to anyone" somehow it is 100 times more common in Big Cities and Detroit is NOT densely populated anymore. Just a lot of nasty people being made that way through bad education and handouts they want so much. Making these people "useful idiots" is easier than any other group, I have to feel like a jew in 1937 Germany here because if ignorance and my issues never existed until 2020 and the violence started, carjacking attempted murder, bed bugs, roaches, Crooked courts/cops, whats left?
