Of course, you need to be at a certain level of English fluency, but once you're at that point, the odds aren't low at all - in fact, they're very promising.

I just found out about you over the last four days and have been soaking up so many of your videos. I’ve been studying E-commerce and the term copywriting kept coming up so I went investigating. I wish I could afford the three thousand price tag. I really do! I’m sure it’s worth it. Sadly, I don’t have time to lessen that blow with only three days until launch. Wish you did this more than once a year. I guess I’ll take a skill share course, or a dozen, and see if I can do this next year. Hopefully, I’ll already be a copywriter, but I’m sure you will have more to teach me.

Alex, you just broke my biggest objection in my freelance copywriting career aspiration: being a non- native English speaker. I live in the UK and cant afford not earning in $ or £, so I want to write in English. Thanks for that!
This is so inspirational. Thank you both! I’ve been on the fence so long… My husband and I have 4 kids, mostly young or very young - so financial decisions and risks are considered as carefully as time commitments which have to stay flexible for potty training and special needs kidaroo. But we’ve had changes closing last year that made me realize some risks you can’t afford *not* to take. I’ve learned from other content and copywriters, and taken less expensive courses from a few other writers but to learn from Alex And the Posse has been on the top of my list of courses to save up for for too long. Learning from the best - from a copywriter on the Forbes List - May catapult success into new stratospheres. I’ve just been scared of that I think, and have been holding off until all kids are in school at least a few hours… coming up soon. So, thinking more about it now to ensure we can secure the budget for it early.

I have been teaching English for the last twenty years and lost my job a few months ago on the issue of low salary. Now I want to pursue a career as a full-time copywriter but have similar fears in my mind of being non-native and not a good pick for international clients..... waiting to get out of troubled waters so that I have enough money to get registered with Alex in copyposse. I'm writing headlines everyday(10),I m practicing sales& landing pages,I spend about 15-30 minutes reading emails,& I go over the questions who I'm writing too,their thoughts,feelings& trying to keep things simple,& of course doing the research.its hard in one way but it gets easier the more you practice.youll be ahead of the curve if you take it slow& allow yourself to be scared some.put practicing anything makes it easier I hope this helps.
My channel is a great resource! If you find it too confusing then I would recommend following a course that is more structured and tells you exactly what to do!

It's good to hear. Congratulations for your success. But let's be honest, that income is possible for some but not probable for most people in the field. It's lightning in a bottle, and it is not going to happen for everyone even if they buy your course.
I wouldn't say that it's not probable for most people. Just like anything, you'll get out what you put in. If you're willing to do the work, then $4k/month is a very reasonable goal!

ChatGPT is going to wipeout this profession. You can have it write anything including selling ad copy or anything else in seconds better than any human.
When I see this type of discouragement. I just think. A person has to utilize ChatGPT. ChatGPT isn’t going to just DO the copy. Therefore the jobs and need of copywriters is still there. People act like these AI programs can run them self 100%. No people can use ChatGPT to help with copy. I don’t see how it would take away from the job, just make it more accessible to everyone.
@@nataliethome198 What it will do is drive down the exuberant prices for copy. Instead of ridiculous payments of $300 an hour, you'll see things popup like unlimited copy $19.95/month subscription. Thus killing of the traditional models. It's a disruptor like uber was to the taxi. Can you still hail a cab, yes, but profit margins went down dramatically and so did demand. Similar to what this disruptor is highly likely to do.

Start by watching literally ALL of Alex's youtube videos. Highly valuable content that costs you nothing.

I'm writing headlines everyday(10),I m practicing sales& landing pages,I spend about 15-30 minutes reading emails,& I go over the questions who I'm writing too,their thoughts,feelings& trying to keep things simple,& of course doing the research.its hard in one way but it gets easier the more you practice.youll be ahead of the curve if you take it slow& allow yourself to be scared some.put practicing anything makes it easier I hope this helps.
My channel is a great resource! If you find it too confusing then I would recommend following a course that is more structured and tells you exactly what to do!
I have been doing copywriting for the past 2 years. I have a splendid profile and upto 90% customer satisfaction but i don't understand how to scale it into a 5 figure business
Increase your rates / start working with higher caliber clients. Get some testimonials from all those happy customers!
It's good to hear. Congratulations for your success. But let's be honest, that income is possible for some but not probable for most people in the field. It's lightning in a bottle, and it is not going to happen for everyone even if they buy your course.
I wouldn't say that it's not probable for most people. Just like anything, you'll get out what you put in. If you're willing to do the work, then $4k/month is a very reasonable goal!

ChatGPT is going to wipeout this profession. You can have it write anything including selling ad copy or anything else in seconds better than any human.
I fully disagree :)
When I see this type of discouragement. I just think. A person has to utilize ChatGPT. ChatGPT isn’t going to just DO the copy. Therefore the jobs and need of copywriters is still there. People act like these AI programs can run them self 100%. No people can use ChatGPT to help with copy. I don’t see how it would take away from the job, just make it more accessible to everyone.
@@nataliethome198 What it will do is drive down the exuberant prices for copy. Instead of ridiculous payments of $300 an hour, you'll see things popup like unlimited copy $19.95/month subscription. Thus killing of the traditional models. It's a disruptor like uber was to the taxi. Can you still hail a cab, yes, but profit margins went down dramatically and so did demand. Similar to what this disruptor is highly likely to do.

We currently use MailChimp for email marketing but have thinking about migrating to a different platform.
