Member's video " "Unprovoked Wrath" Duni's Fury against Senior Gorilla Kamba" available at th-cam.com/video/LqD6w93rAR4/w-d-xo.html For those who don't want to join.... There was a huge fight where Gorilla mother Duni, with her baby in her arms, suddenly attacked the oldest member of the troop, Gorilla Kamba. Silverback got involved in this and didn't let up. Even the monkeys tried to do their bit.
I think Duni wants to be the new leader and that Kamba doesn't have a good relationship with Kisumu. What worries me the most is that Kisumu didn't defend Kamba
Mobi has such an adorable face. I have quite a few videos of her now and the troop, if you are interested this is the playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLXC1aShJSBiV0naHlsnOJKSgeyuEVnP_6.html 😊
Why does the mother gorilla have that big turd on her back? Reminds me of when Genki put that huge one on little Kintaro's shoulder, and he looked SO confused!!! 😂
Duni is flushed with protective hormones and the silverback the same, it maybe dangerous for Kamba ti be in such close quarters with mum and dad , in the initial early months at least. It maybe that it happens to older females or they need a bigger enclosure or a safe place to seperate them… or… a combination of the above, what have other zoos done in similar cases? Interesting to know. You mentioned another older female that lives happily solo. 😍🙌.
Yes Fatou has lived a solitary live in Berlin for quite a long time now. I saw her when he was 62, she's 67 now, making her the oldest Gorilla in the world I believe. She gets treated like a queen by the keepers with fruit baskets and lots of treats. I even saw a video where the keeper sits with her in the her outside space feeding her. th-cam.com/video/aDD6UecuY5E/w-d-xo.html
Hello there, I understand your concern and I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. I introduced membership as a way to support the channel because, unfortunately, TH-cam's revenue model has changed, and creators like myself are finding it harder to sustain our work solely through ad revenue. The membership fee is just a small contribution towards the costs of running the channel, which includes equipment, time, and resources. It's intended to provide extra benefits and show appreciation for those who are able to offer support. That being said, I completely understand if it's not something you're interested in or able to do at this time. While membership does offer additional perks, rest assured that I'll continue releasing the same amount of content for free. Membership videos are simply an added bonus for those who choose to support the channel in this way. Thank you for being a part of the community, and if you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
It's true that some TH-camrs do indeed earn substantial incomes. However, it's important to note that every creator's situation is different. In my case, as a faceless channel without the option for brand deals or sponsorships, my revenue sources are limited to ads and viewer support. Despite having a significant following of 840K subscribers, the reality is that the revenue generated often falls short of covering the costs associated with producing high-quality content. Contrary to popular belief, I don't make a significant profit from the channel. In fact, I've often had to dip into my own pocket to cover expenses. I've never paid myself a salary, and any earnings are reinvested into equipment, resources, and other necessary expenses to maintain and improve the channel. Regarding the membership fee, which adds up to £12 a year, I assure you it's not intended to be greedy. It's a modest contribution that helps cover the costs of running the channel and ensures its sustainability. I believe it's a fair exchange for the value provided, and it allows me to continue creating content that hopefully enriches the lives of many I understand that membership may not be for everyone, and that's completely okay. My aim is to continue providing valuable content for free while offering additional perks to those who choose to support the channel through membership. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
They say hormones can make anyone do crazy things, but what's puzzling here is that she's usually so protective of her little one. You can see how much she cares for her baby girl. So, for her to suddenly act in a way that puts her baby in harm's way is completely out of character.
Also, I think the gorilla Mom's know just how hardy their infants are and wouldn't purposely put them in harm's way. Duni knew she had the upper hand as a higher ranking and stronger member of the troop.
@justbenice7448 She did have Kisumu to back her up as well in her pursued. She knew as the higher ranking female that he would back her up, no matter what.
I am worried that Kamba is going to be end up treated as an outsider. She never liked Kisumu and Duni seems like wanting to be the leader. I don't like what I am seeing.
almost certainly she is just establishing her dominance because she has the youngest child. An assertive female will take any chance to assert dominance. Then females on the internet will try to find an excuse for it. having not seen the video of course.

At least the younger gorillas interfered and positioned themselves in between them. Seem they were looking out for Kemba.
Yes Ajabu was definitely trying to be a peacekeeper. It was quite interesting to see that even the Colobus monkeys tried to intervene.
Thank you for the follow up video and explanations.
Wow! Wish I could be in the mind of Dunn.
Thank Goodness everything is calm n peaceful.
Again many thanks for coverage and now the update, SV.
My pleasure😊! I was glad when she settled down, you could just see everyone breathing relieve, including myself.
I think that Duni wants to be the new leader.

Dunn is really hormonal and all Gorilla's seem to take out their anger and boredom on the oldest, weakest of the troop. Poor Kamba!
Thank you so much for joining @cwtexas7718. That's definitely what it must have been. Now with two babies in the troop I hope Kamba will be OK.
I feel for Kamba.
Haven't seen this troop before but that little baby is so so gorgeous.
Thanks.💞😍

There are plenty of TH-camrs who make ridiculously large amounts of money. It’s just plain greed.

I can only put it down to hormones but even then it was a crazy thing to do with a small baby in tow

@@SloggerVlogger Absolutely. They're much more astute than most people give them credit for.
Sloggervlogger that's was worrying me, that Kisumu is not defending Kamba properly.😢
Definitely looks like there's been some beef going on! Mama looks very.cheeses off!
Looks like I have to be a "member" to see the original video I guess....Oh well. I'll go back to watching my other gorilla families I follow.
I wonder if it would be possible to put Kamba with Richard and the boys? Just a thought.
Interesting, I really don't know if that would be possible or if a female in the troop would cause other trouble in the hierarchy.
I don't think so. Eventually, the boys would fight with the father over Kamba.
I am worried that Kamba is going to be end up treated as an outsider. She never liked Kisumu and Duni seems like wanting to be the leader. I don't like what I am seeing.
Me too, like a new Bikira 😢
There was a gorilla woman who died there, Bikira, back in 2021. Do you know what happened to her.... I mean her exact cause of death? Thanks!
They say it was " acute rupture of the stomach wall (trauma)." Not sure how something like this happens.
Het is wel een enorm grote groep gorilla’s 💖💞‼️ Drie keer moeten kijken ❗️Veel dank want het is een mooie opname 🌹👍🏻👍🏻🙋♀️🙋♀️ 2:40
Thank you for watching. 😊
Is that poop on Duni back
Yes it is, when the baby needs to go she needs to go, even on mum's back. 😁
this mama is so proud boy see amazing animals need to be protected from harm and I pray they all have more offspring beautiful love
Maybe it’s hormones.🤷🏻♀️ Definitely could see tension in their body language. ♥️
I think Mom rolled around in some poo!
It was her baby Mobi. 😁
TH-cam greed has become so scummy🤮 even for a channel with 1m subs. Crazy
Care to explain?
That's a lot of nonsense after this video. Why are you commenting on something you don't understand at all ?
almost certainly she is just establishing her dominance because she has the youngest child. An assertive female will take any chance to assert dominance. Then females on the internet will try to find an excuse for it. having not seen the video of course.
Kiji has the youngest baby.
“Females on the Internet”? So your gorilla expertise extends to all females on the internet?
@@rosemary702001 lol
I enjoyed trying understand all their communication . They say so much without speaking a word.😳🫤🥰
