- Today's release is the aftermath of the members-only video "Unprovoked Wrath" Duni's Fury against Senior Gorilla Kamba Watch at • Unprovoked Wrath There was a huge fight where Gorilla mother Duni, with her baby in her arms, suddenly attacked the oldest member of the troop, Gorilla Kamba. Silverback got involved in this and didn't let up. Even the monkeys tried to do their bit.
In this video captures the aftermath of this incident. Duni is really protective of her daughter now. Silverback Kisumu wants to check up on the two, but she turns away at first. Duni then smells the silverback and he moves on. Duni checks Mobi over, but she seems fine. I really don't know what got into her, especially with the baby in her arms.
When Duni gets up with Mobi on her back, you'll see Kamba making a run for it in the other direction. Ajabu, the youngster, looks at Kamba running past.
Duni doesn't let up and keeps following Kamba. It's perplexing what prompted her actions, especially with her infant in tow. She really seems to have a bee in her bonnet with Kamba. When there was a fight with the Twycross Zoo Gorilla troop, it was just back as if nothing happened shortly afterwards, but here the mood has quite changed. This was filmed in March, when Kijivu was not far from giving birth. She's the one that sniffs Kamba's bum. Then Duni comes and smells Kijivu who moves away a step, as if to say I'm not getting entangled in your dispute. I'm so glad it wasn't her that got involved in that fight. Ajabu seems to be a bit of a peacemaker.
Little baby Mobi seems unaffected by all the tension in the air.
All of them on edge, Duni goes up to Kisumu's face. Afterwards, they both go to the window, looking outside. Only when Duni finally settles down, is when everyone else relaxes as well. Ajabu still checking over Kamba once more by the window.

At least the younger gorillas interfered and positioned themselves in between them. Seem they were looking out for Kemba.
Yes Ajabu was definitely trying to be a peacekeeper. It was quite interesting to see that even the Colobus monkeys tried to intervene.

I think Duni wants to be the new leader and that Kamba doesn't have a good relationship with Kisumu. What worries me the most is that Kisumu didn't defend Kamba

Dunn is really hormonal and all Gorilla's seem to take out their anger and boredom on the oldest, weakest of the troop. Poor Kamba!

Duni is flushed with protective hormones and the silverback the same, it maybe dangerous for Kamba ti be in such close quarters with mum and dad , in the initial early months at least. It maybe that it happens to older females or they need a bigger enclosure or a safe place to seperate them… or… a combination of the above, what have other zoos done in similar cases? Interesting to know. You mentioned another older female that lives happily solo. 😍🙌.
Yes Fatou has lived a solitary live in Berlin for quite a long time now. I saw her when he was 62, she's 67 now, making her the oldest Gorilla in the world I believe. She gets treated like a queen by the keepers with fruit baskets and lots of treats. I even saw a video where the keeper sits with her in the her outside space feeding her.

There are plenty of TH-camrs who make ridiculously large amounts of money. It’s just plain greed.
It's true that some TH-camrs do indeed earn substantial incomes. However, it's important to note that every creator's situation is different. In my case, as a faceless channel without the option for brand deals or sponsorships, my revenue sources are limited to ads and viewer support.
Despite having a significant following of 840K subscribers, the reality is that the revenue generated often falls short of covering the costs associated with producing high-quality content. Contrary to popular belief, I don't make a significant profit from the channel. In fact, I've often had to dip into my own pocket to cover expenses. I've never paid myself a salary, and any earnings are reinvested into equipment, resources, and other necessary expenses to maintain and improve the channel.
Regarding the membership fee, which adds up to £12 a year, I assure you it's not intended to be greedy. It's a modest contribution that helps cover the costs of running the channel and ensures its sustainability. I believe it's a fair exchange for the value provided, and it allows me to continue creating content that hopefully enriches the lives of many

I can only put it down to hormones but even then it was a crazy thing to do with a small baby in tow
They say hormones can make anyone do crazy things, but what's puzzling here is that she's usually so protective of her little one. You can see how much she cares for her baby girl. So, for her to suddenly act in a way that puts her baby in harm's way is completely out of character.
Also, I think the gorilla Mom's know just how hardy their infants are and wouldn't purposely put them in harm's way. Duni knew she had the upper hand as a higher ranking and stronger member of the troop.
@justbenice7448 She did have Kisumu to back her up as well in her pursued. She knew as the higher ranking female that he would back her up, no matter what.

I am worried that Kamba is going to be end up treated as an outsider. She never liked Kisumu and Duni seems like wanting to be the leader. I don't like what I am seeing.

almost certainly she is just establishing her dominance because she has the youngest child. An assertive female will take any chance to assert dominance. Then females on the internet will try to find an excuse for it. having not seen the video of course.
