So glad I've got one of these on the way. Everyone I've seen uses them in different ways. The chill way is the obvious path but it has so much more than that and I dig your funky sound man
Well - they're always sold out anyway (I am lucky to have one though) and I can't imagine you've helped their availability 😂 Can I just say you're the first player of your ilk (ie conventionally a very gifted player, not an experimental one) who has managed to demonstrate this pedal.
Nicely done, I'm interested in it, but a bit wary of devices that do to much then my guitar just becomes a synth trigger devise sort of like pushing buttons & wiggling a joystick to cause a pixel man to perform complex acrobatics
Awesomest demo ! Great to hear this device in a non ambient/experimental context ! However, I've never managed to get such a clear and clean signal with this pedal. Did you mess with the parameters ? Is there a compressor somewhere in the chain ?
does anyone know what pedal did he turn on at minute 12? i almost thought that sound came out form the hologram. ive been searching for that glorious sound for months now.
Pedals like this will do to guitar what Auto Tune did to vocals. Every note sounds good and you actually don't need to have any skills at all. Just play an E and let the pedal do the musical stuff. Instant pleasure. That's neither a good nor a bad thing. It's just how technology evolves. I sold my Microcosm after 9 months, because it made me lazy and took control over my guitar playing.
Do you really think that this pedal will be heard on every pop records ever recorded, like auto-tune is ? Come on, it's far too unpredictable for that !
It, like any other tool, can elevate your creativity or diminish your innate skills. Those choices are not mandated by the tool, however. Hendrix would have been all over this and would still be a phenomenal musician.
Underrated demo. This is the most concise and masterful demonstration of the musical possibilities of this pedal that I've seen.
The only non-ambient only review I have seen of this pedal. You are the Man RJ! Thank you.
Hell yeah. Nothing wrong with ambient but theres so much more this pedal can do!
The best and most inspiring demo video about the microcosm! Some sounds remind me of "Talk Talk" albums like "Spirit of Eden" or "Laughing Stock".
What a player you are, man . Its not just the device . Youre breathing soul into the device.
Thanks RJ. Before I saw your demo, I had NO IDEA why anyone would want this thing. In your hands it sounds killer ...

Best demo of The Microcosm ive seen
All bangers all the time.
This is how you use this pedal! Non of the generic slow ambient BS 😊
Just about convinced myself I don't need this pedal... and here comes RJ!
PERFECT PLAYING CHOICES to demo this superbly, bruh...

All the rage against the machine noises in one box!

Right on brother...nobody demos better anywhere..
What sorcery is this!?!?
this, my friends, is music of the future! Thanks R.J. beautiful sounds
Video like this unconsciously inspires.
Easily the best demo of this pedal on YT. Thanks for using cool pedals to make actual music and not just bleep bloop for 40 minutes.
Funky :) That Activety rotator up left should have been turned down a bit sometimes.
Nicely done, I'm interested in it, but a bit wary of devices that do to much then my guitar just becomes a synth trigger devise sort of like pushing buttons & wiggling a joystick to cause a pixel man to perform complex acrobatics
Sci-Fi Rock at its finest!!
Wow! Finally a contender to the Meris Ottobit Jr. for really glitched guitar (& else) sounds.
Amazing pedal. I need it
What strat pickups you using? Sounds great bro
WOW! I'm thinking of breaking down and getting one. Are you still using this? This Demo is amazing! Thanks!
This reminds me of the AdraLynn III pedal
How do u save presets or how do these sound in a song? Great video.
That was quite a composition R.J.! BTW, I had those pants when I was like, 5. hahahah
Awesomest demo ! Great to hear this device in a non ambient/experimental context !

I get wildly inconsistent sound out of mine. My guess is this is balanced with post pedal compression or post processing
@@SecondhandSynth yes, pretty sure there's a compressor somewhere in the chain...
Cool sounds 👌🏻 Thank You 🖐🏻
Cool man, that sounds like fun 😀
Amazing!!
Alright. This or an Expresso fuzz? Been saving for the fuzz but this thing is pure sorcery
Sounds epic!
Insane
I’ve been wanting to get this pedal. It definitely helps to see you demo it.
does anyone know what pedal did he turn on at minute 12? i almost thought that sound came out form the hologram. ive been searching for that glorious sound for months now.
Sounded like it’s either a vibrato or a univibe
I don't understand this pedal but it sounds awesome.
Did u make the backing track yourself?
Freakin gnarly🔥🔥🔥
At 17 minutes in I was ready to go way down deep amongst the swirls with you RJ... And then the 🚪 shuts.
Hey bro is this like an Eventide H9? It sounds similar. Which is better?? Thanks!!!
I don't know what the engineer who designed this pedal smokes ... but I want to try it.
Noice!
Wow! Why would I pay for the pedal, if I can just listen to it when you play it;)
очень "вкусный гитарист":)
Sounds like a friday the 13th sound track pedal 🤣
Gilmour 2.0

Hologram is nice But for $450?? You can get many of the similar F/X from EHX Oceans 12 for half the price.
Sounds cool but in the mix, it might sound like you have a pretentious synth player in your band haha
