This is an extended version of the track "Beach Theme/Beach Scene" from the movie « Thief » (1981) composed by Tangerine Dream. This is the original music, extended by myself from the original soundtrack. Note: This theme has been reused and remixed for the movie "The Soldier" (1982).

Once again I suspect you are reading my brain and picking all the themes that I love lol Tangerine Dream is awesome and so is this movie! Probably my favorite James Caan movie, though its very close with Misery.
My stepfather had most of TD albums, I fell in love with these two tracks back then, and did this exact thing with them back in 1982
I have the movie poster to this on my wall. Wish i could had James sign it before he passed. RIP.... Favorite movie ever. I love heist movies especially when they get away with it. Well sort of. Leo got greedy. Frank won!

This makes me wonder if you will try your hand at Michel Rubini's Manhunter soundtrack Graham's Theme always reminded me of this one, I'd be interested to see what you could do with it. Anyway keep up the great work, excited to see what you post next :)

Really like this group. The Virgin Atlantic years were the best when they were a trio. Tangerine Dream without these three not really Tangerine Dream. They had a compositional signature that is recognizable or maybe these three musician's names sound like the classical composers of an age past. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Schubert, Brahms

One of my fave soundtracks/movies. Any chance you would do an extended theme of “Confrontation” from the THIEF soundtrack?
I love this Krautrock band. Vangelis too. Simple Minds, Led Zeppelin, Talking Heads.
