When I first heard of the €1 houses in Italy, I assumed such houses would require a minimum of €25,000 to €30,000 in repairs and renovation. I've since learned it can be more expensive due to ongoing damage caused by unoccupied adjacent connecting property(ies). Even with renovation costs of €100,000 these homes are still a great value.
Just like in parts of these United States, there are towns in rural areas which are being abandoned by young people. Rural properties in these failing towns can be purchased for very little.

Well .. I’m more afraid of further investment I’ll have to make after purchasing that property 😉 taking about both time and money ☺️

Very very interesting video! I’m actually 62 years old and I’m considering moving to Italy for the remainder of my years! Is there a place or someone to talk to as far as a realtor to determine where and how much it would cost for me to move there?

If you decide to move to Italy, a must is that you should learn Italian. That opens the doors for you much faster. Don't accept that people speak English everywhere.

@AnnaGoldmanTravel After Trump? That would be great. Only problem he was not born in the United States. And we do have a law which would need to be changed. In fact we would need a constitutional amendment
