My sister used to live with a salvadorian family in L.A. and they introduced her to papusas. Now she buys papusas regularly from a small shop just down from my house. They are amazing and bigger then that. They only sell them for $2 each. Definitely worth giving them a try.
I really like the hot dog stands that are basically grills, and people would cook bacon wrapped wieners, and then they would cook some grilled onions and chili on the side. They would have mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise as the sauce.

The way your supposed to eat the pupusas is the pupusas then the curtido (the cabbage merinated in vinegar) on top of the pupusas and then the sauce on top of that. Everything Together tastes how it’s supposed to be and way better in my opinion! Y’all should try it 👍🏼🤤
A pupusa is eaten with cabbage and veggies marinated in vinegar and the red salsa goes on top of it to fully enjoy the experience. You guys ate it plain.
