I just bought this palette from Ulta today for $11.50 on sale with the coupon code and I’m in love with ALL these looks . You look amazing in all of these looks . I think your a bit hard on yourself ❤️ thank you so much for sharing
This is the first Morphe palette I am actually interested in. I never got why one should buy the monocromatic ones, who needs 5 trillion shades of taupe?
@@elainebines6803 i bought it, it was my first morphe pallet, i like it. I think Kat's criticisms are fair, but I also think that the shadows are workable, they build well, they are beginner friendly. I do pull transitions from other places, but overall this was a palette where i could make some nice colourful looks without looking like a clown. It is good value for money. I like it in combination with the 35V. If you are interested in the swampy greens but don't like the 35 palettes, have a look at the 15 pan palette they have, they're not too bad either.
Pretty green looks!!. I also really liked the one where you took the pic in the car. The one you didn't like. It came out pretty, even though you were not fond of it yourself. And the braids, Awweesome!!
Your looks giving me all the inspiration I need to pull my palette back out and play. It's midnight and I'm actually trying not to get up and start applying eyeshadow while everyone gets a good night's sleep! Your lashes are beautiful long, do you use a particular growth serum ? Please don't tell me you're just genetically blessed that way 😋!
I bit the bullet and bought this on Black Friday @ Ulta on a whim. I too bought it for the greens. It’s a fun palette and I’m going to use it for my go-to October palette. With all the greens, oranges, and purples, it really puts my in mind of Halloween 👻
i love this 1 month 1 palette idea! i just started shopping my stash and pulling out specific products to work into my routine and i exchange the products once a week. i have liked that to keep me shopping my stash and using the products instead of them sitting there gathering dust.
WHOA KAT-- LOOK #12 IS REALLY GOOD! I saw it and I thought oh my god she looks ANGELIC. Definitely don't wear it if it makes you unhappy, but you are so beautiful girl wow.
my fav look is your fav look, love it, tfs 💜💜💜 by the way, I ran (wheeled ♿) straight out and found a neon yellow eyeliner after I saw that photo of your neon yellow look and although I'm yet to play with it, I am excited!!! 💜💜💜
I love how thorough you are in these videos and I love your makeup style so much! I appreciate how honest you are too, you’re definitely one of my faves to watch. I also love your lip picks for these looks, they’re beautiful 😊
I love that you do this even though I have very few of the palettes or very few in general honestly but it is so common here on YT to only worry about brand new releases so this is neat! 💜
These have got to be some of my favorite videos on YT ever. I'm really excited for SG, I have quite a few ABH and your videos always inspire me! Like this look is helping me figure out how to reach for the purples in Blood Sugar more too.
@ 10:00 was really digging the pallette when you first mentioned it and I got it myself! As for mixing the greens and reds, I really liked using them with the camel yellows to make an autumn leaf type look. It does walk a thin line of getting muddied but the reds and greens can play nice together!
I actually just hopped online and bought the palette once I'd finished this video. Not because I think it is going to change my world, but mostly because I'd like to try some green looks out but I'm not sure they're going to work on my eyes/colouring. This looks like a cheap way to make a bad decision, rather than trying to dupe Gemini or wait for the Safari Raine palette (which will be hella expensive here in Aus). I'll also get to play with some purples which I haven't really done either! Basically, thank you Kat for being a crash test dummy, this series is fantastic. 🙌
The look you created at the end (I'd seen it in previous video) made me buy this palette. I couldn't even wait for the full review video, and I actually really liked this palette! I did miss the lighter transition shades, but nothing too horrible. I still have so much to play with though 😍 I bought it mostly for the purples and reds, and greens. well, most of the palette I guess.
I think Kat's brown eyes look especially beautiful in these shades, & look deep hazel in many of her shadow looks. This palette & the other they released at the same time (w/the indigo/blue row, 35V?), were my 1st 2 Morphe purchases. I actually prefer to combine them, as it gives you cool-toned transitions to work with; which as Kat mentioned, the 35M is missing . However, neither palette has enough light shadows (esp. mattes) for my preferences. They both contain predominantly medium-to-dark toned shades. I actually really like the color-stories of the palettes; & I think some of the shades are quite unique, as many of the shimmers/metallics contain unusual/contrasting reflects & glitters. I personally find that the shadows perform best w/an UNSET base (I usually just use my concealer). I think a sticky-base results in more vibrancy, truer-to-pan color, & more shine from the shimmers (which, of course, can be helped along by foiling, too). I really like the murky & earthy secondary & tertiary colors in these palettes. They are COLORFUL yet not overly BRIGHT, & I find them unexpectedly flattering.
yes, i purchased the 35M and 35V as well and really enjoy them. These were my first Morphe palettes and I'm happy. For the price they are good value, i can get a variety of looks, the shadows are workable, build and blend nicely and I can go from colourful to work appropriate with both pallets. They do complement each other nice.
I did that too and I really like them. I don't care much about the redundant shades (wish they put lighter shades but it is ok) because you get so many of them to play with anyway! With these two I don't feel the need to own any other Morphe palette so I'm satisfied (:
Can't wait to see your impressions of the Tribe palette! I recently purchased it during their recent sale but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet!
I really liked that 9th look! I love pinky mauvey plummy colors, wouldn't normally dare to add green to it, but this really inspires me! I'd been eyeing this palette since it was first shown bc of those greens, maybe i need to get me my second morphe palette, if i see it on sale or something.. 😘 I've got the 35b, the rainbow one, i bet these colors would really make some pretty autumnal looks, something I'm not so good at normally. I love seeing these in depth reviews!
Hey Kat, I really really enjoy your 1 month 1 palette videos😍😍!! You saved me some money but I also bought palettes because of your in depth reviews. So much work you do👍! Can you recommend half lashes that are beginner friendly (or normal lashes you like to cut)? Hugs from Germany 🇩🇪😘
I have this palette and I really like it. I’m surprised so many people have had problems with fading. I use primer then apply the matte shades. After that I tap on some glitter fly and apply my shimmer shade with my finger and it lasts 12 hours. The greens worked especially well for me. I’ve had some of these colors wear longer than some of my Natasha Denona shadow. People’s experience with products can be so wildly different
Really enjoyed this video! I liked all the looks you created. Look #12 was stunning on you. The one with the purple on lower lash made your eyes look so pretty. 💓
At first when I saw this palette, I wasn't interested. But the more I saw it, the more it interested me for the top two rows, so I'm not sure its worth it to buy (maybe it goes on sale). I think all the color combos you created look great! It is tempting me to want this palette more than just for the rows of greens/browns.
Hello Kat have been a new sub to your channel because I have really enjoyed your personality from Beauty News! 😘😘 never purchased this palette but purchased my first Morphe palette last dec of the Jacklyn Hill and really enjoyed it so far good quality for the price! Luv your background and really enjoyed this video thank you great job!
Ok Kat. I need to know what the lip color is that you have on at the start of the video because I'm going to buy it. 😂 also going to try this look with some of my urban decay palettes, I kinda want to do a recreation of all the looks but use urban decay because I dont have the morphe palette lol
Yay! I'm eating dinner and you just uploaded. 🙌🙌 (7:01 pm in cali) Haven't started the video yet, but got this over the weekend for my birthday. I'm surprised that I enjoyed this palette and I hate morphe's palettes. Can't wait to see your thoughts! Edit: I agree with you on wanting dusty lilacs, or mauves, coral mattes, and a matte cream shade. Oh and a mid tone purple! How about instead of black, a navy? That'd be nice. Plus that brassy bronze shade appeared like a olive bronze on me!
This palette managed to combine the colors I really like & have in separate monochromatic mini palettes into one large palette. If the quality of the eyeshadows was better I might be tempted & willing to overlook the shortcomings you pointed out which I totally agree with. I'm just not willing to struggle & work up a sweat to make my eyeshadow work anymore, there's too many options to settle. Looking forward to your OMOP with Soft Glam. Maybe it will inspire me to use it. I don't reach for it & I'm considering decluttering it ( have a box started for Project Beauty Share ) so I can focus on the palettes I do use. Loved all the green looks, the red/plum, & the coral purple. Very pretty. Maybe you can recreate with another palette that has a formula you enjoy using more?
I like this shorter format for this type of video. I don’t feel that i always want a one by one swatch of all the stuff in a palette. I like to hear your opinion about the shades, maybe with the best and the worst shades, but swatches i can find online in pictures or first impression videos. Maybe this might make it easier for you to make the video.
I love the color story for the Boss Mood palette, but I have no interest in Morphe or really any other lower end brand. Any suggestions on how I can achieve a similar color story from other brands?
The green looks are amazing! Particularly look 8. You wore a green look that I loved one week on BN, and the description box said it was this pallet. How do the greens compare to the Gemini pallet? X
I just love your eyeshadow looks! Do you have the Natasha Denona Lila palette, or the Charlotte Tilbury Stars in Your Eyes? I’d love to see the Gemini palette used xxxx
I'm not a fan of green colors and is hard for me to mix sometimes 'cause I'm not use to use it. Sometimes I use only a pop of color with green shade actually because it kind of scares me. I can see you struggle with purples and pinks/corals pretty often, for mix and create a look, I can see how use it with those browns and corals. For purples is not completely necessary have cool transition shades. I love some looks you did (mostly the last one) and I'll try to get out of my comfort zone to use different the browns and greens I own.
I don’t necessarily struggle with pinks and purples, I just don’t like them (similar to how you don’t like greens) so I don’t like full looks using them. I do however like soft purples and taupes. You definitely don’t need cool transition shades to make purples work, but I like using them more when there are cool transition shades because they look more flattering
I know it's not the point but 35M and 35V are sister palettes, what one lacks, the other provides. I bought 35V first and ran into a similar issue as the purple situation 35M has.....but when I eventually got both, i realized they were made to be together.....sucks cuz thats basically a $48 palette but I digress
i just depotted the palette (becuase that is how ive come to enjoy my eyeshadow) and HOLY HELL!!! i had not been reaching for the palette because i was always overwhelmed with the size of the palette (hence the depotting) but not only does every second shade get a dupe within the palette, the mattes are so dry in formula that every. single. one. Broke.
Legit question for anyone who can answer, are morphe palettes relatively easy to depot? I'm thinking I'll be able to be more creative with it if I can lay it out how I want
I have this palette and Hate it with every Breath I have. The pigmentation isn't there for me. It doesn't show on my skin at all. I ended up having to Buy dupes for the shades I liked from other brands... Except the purple and one of the lime green shimmers, I can't make them show on my Skin...
If you haven't already, try it w/an UNSET/sticky base (I just use my concealer). I have the palette & like it, but I HAVE to use an unset base & layer-up to get intensity & vibrancy from the palette (esp. the green shades). You can also use a white/lighter base for further impact, but a sticky base & layering is enough for me. It's NOT "pow" immediate pigment, so if that's what you want, this isn't the palette for you. Personally, I'd rather have colors that are buildable & work, than are overly pigmented & difficult to blend or streaky. Hope this helps...
@@NatalieValentina6 I don't usually set my base. Tried all that, even to pick it and stamp it and it fades away in minutes... I like to build my eyeshadows too, but with this they just doesn't... I end up getting the lid sore for trying.
@@escaramujo Sorry, that really sucks :( I AM super-pale, & almost never have issues w/shadows fading (no matter what brand I use). I know oilier eyelids can "eat up" shadow & lead to faster fading. If you deal w/that issue, or just often deal w/fading, I've heard a lot of people (including Kat) recommend the NARS shadow base. I haven't personally tried it, as it's pricier & I prefer to use concealer to cancel lid darkness. I hope more brands release these kinds of swampy greens in better quality formulas. I'm considering picking up some singles from Devinah & Sydney Grace...
@@NatalieValentina6 Thankyou! Definitely going to try the nars base then. I'm pale with dry skin but with very very oily eyelids... and was really on the hunt for another base since the Milani I use is starting to give me a reaction and the others I have (bases and concealers) don't hold well enough. Being European I got the dupes mostly out of Lethal cosmetics. Their mattes aren't that great but work way better than those on the palette. Hope you find some good dupes then ^.^
@@escaramujo i find it buildable, i use the MAC soft ochre as a base and i find i can build to nice pigmentation. I don't like a strong neon in your face look with my shadows, which is probably why i'm happy with the pigmentation, for me these are wearable. You could also try using a white or black base with colours to get stronger pigmentation on the finished looks. That said, i hate the ABH shadows because on me they start really strong and then fade within an hour.
Only you could make me even think to buy a morphe product, but I can’t , can’t stand their shady business and not a fan of the influencers that push it ,, j Charles,j hill, j Starr,,last bit not least manny 🤮
K Ham just because it’s an influencer brand? If you knew the shady practices of the brands you use who don’t use influencers whose dirty laundry is all over the internet...you wouldn’t buy a lot of what you already have.
Also this is a weird comment but I honestly think you have the coolest eye shape
I agree...its just like a cat's eye
This is my favorite series on TH-cam 😍. I wish everyone reviewed a palette using every shade at least once over 3+ looks
New rule: if you are doing a tutorial for a morphe palette (or any large palette) you have to show the shades like kat did here. That was helpful.
Bugger! Editing it was a bitch 😝
Is it even a Morphe palette without any redundant shades?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Alex Mullinix 🤣
Alex Mullinix LOL!! So true
Honestly. This could have been a fantastic 12 or 15 pan palette
beth ardron They actually do have a 15-pan palette that looks almost exactly like this one!
Such a smart idea putting a picture of the palette on the screen. I would have been the dumbarse holding it up trying to get it in the shot.
I really love this type video you do. Such an inspiration. You actually found a use for the plastic sheet😆😆

Random thought but I need a lime-yellow Stila glitter & Glow
Samantha Turner lemonhead has a lime-yellow glitter!
They do have a shade called "yellow tales"....it's not lime, unfortunately, but it is yellow that goes amazingly over limes
WHOA KAT-- LOOK #12 IS REALLY GOOD! I saw it and I thought oh my god she looks ANGELIC. Definitely don't wear it if it makes you unhappy, but you are so beautiful girl wow.
I’m so excited to see you use the soft glam palette! Finally a palette I own, so excited to see the looks you make to get some inspiration
Damn! Your eyes are seriously stunning! Your hair looks great short too! 😍
This is a smart series. I enjoy watching your resourcefulness to keep it going. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Ooooo, can’t wait to see what you do with the soft glam. I’ve never tried ABH shadows and I’ve been thinking of getting the soft glam
Dangit, I have been eyeing this palette and now I really want it! I did not realize how unusual the colors were until you broke it down.
I feel the same about those greens they need help. I freaking love the palette though. For morphe it's just so creative. And workable enough for me
I love this series!! 💜💗❤
I love these videos!! Also I love that your first impression includes 5 looks over 5 days. Keep doing them!!

I really don't want to support Morphe, but that pallete is stunning. Also, I love your vampy look, I'd definitely wear it!

Wow look #8 looks soooo pretty on you! 👌😍
Love this video!!
This is one of my fave series on your channel! your videos in general are so educational, thank you for creating them!
What’s your lip colour? Thanks for the video!
Hey, Kat! Would you mind letting me know what neon green liner you've been using? I can't find it
I mixed two SUVA beauty liners together to make the green :)
Thanks, sis!
Really enjoyed this video! I liked all the looks you created. Look #12 was stunning on you. The one with the purple on lower lash made your eyes look so pretty. 💓
I also love all the green looks!
I'm so happy you're doing this. I got this palette as a Christmas gift and my boring warm shade of neutrals only ass doesn't know what to do with it.
Yay Kat TV! Best start to the weekend xo
yes, that tribe pallet! I have it but have not dipped in just yet... I'm excited for that one! and Gemini sine its an all time fav in my collection
love this series! (having the palette in the corner was great during the video was super helpfull by the way :) )
So excited to see your opinions on Juvia's Place! And on the Tribe Palette specifically! Eeeee~
I just got this palette to and was like 'I should do a Kat style in-depth review video on this palette!' and then you uploaded this! haha. Love it!

I got this palette in December and I still haven't used it, so I was really pleased to see this video pop up to give me some inspo! :)
Ok Kat. I need to know what the lip color is that you have on at the start of the video because I'm going to buy it. 😂 also going to try this look with some of my urban decay palettes, I kinda want to do a recreation of all the looks but use urban decay because I dont have the morphe palette lol
I almost picked this up the other day, but went for the Nature Glow instead; promising myself I can have this later. Those greens are everything.
I love the green looks. 😍
This is my favorite palette. Lol 😅😳
Ohhh #9 is actually quite lovely!
I love this palette ! U did a fantastic job with it ;) 💖
I loved the looks. I had this palette for a week and returned it. I couldn't deal with all that work.
Hooray .. my fave video's !! love youse xx
Always think of you when I see this palette.
Hi Kat! Are you looking forward to autumn and winter or do you enjoy summer weather more?
Love this. It's my goal in 2018 to start enjoying wearing eye makeup lol
Yay! I'm eating dinner and you just uploaded. 🙌🙌 (7:01 pm in cali)

What morphe palettes have the best formula? I've heard the Jaclyn hill palette has a great formula but mixed reviews of others.
Honestly in my opinion.....the original JH, this palette, the sister 35V palette, and the 9C jewels are the best quality.
@@geewizlana thank you :)
I loved the video
I actually think look 12 looked great on you!
Lol larger pallette February once again. 😉
I love most of the looks you’ve created❤️❤️ In this video your lips looking so plump👄👄
Are you planning to do subculture??? Thanks!!
I don’t have any plans to do it because I really don’t like the formula.
pretty looks!
i just depotted the palette (becuase that is how ive come to enjoy my eyeshadow) and HOLY HELL!!! i had not been reaching for the palette because i was always overwhelmed with the size of the palette (hence the depotting) but not only does every second shade get a dupe within the palette, the mattes are so dry in formula that every. single. one. Broke.
Nice
Hmm...I was thinking about if the melt impulsive palette would be a similar color story, but that one has such silly packaging
Legit question for anyone who can answer, are morphe palettes relatively easy to depot? I'm thinking I'll be able to be more creative with it if I can lay it out how I want
I think Morphe is never going to come out with big really versatile palette, cause they wouldn’t sell the rest of their 50 shades of whatever palettes
Those two dark shimmers are identical, i don't want any shimmery blacks, let alone two.
Why are you so fucking beautiful 😍😍😍😍🥰 I love you! ❤️😘
