What an idyllic stretch of river, them perch are greedy but the pike even more so, I was fishing Sheffield canal other day and everytime I got a fish on the pike was out and having an easy lunch on my behalf, great vid as always
@@GaryColeman-xp1zy cheers man, yeah these Jack Pike are crazy for it... gutted as that Perch I hooked was a 2lber 😕... yeah this little River is a gem, been good to me this season 😀, all the best mate, n thanks for watching 👍🎣

You know what i thought that from the thumb nail then i saw your comment....but then i thought hard and the conversation went like " Dave . Do ya fancy an afternoon/evening session at the river" 😅
@@parklandpiker 😂, yeah he was like my fish spotter.. got a very clear view from that bridge... we've fished together since we were 10 so he's always welcome 😂
Well done Pete good results and fun with the pike. I had a double blank on the trent one on the non tidal and one on the tidal but that's fishing not done this for a long time the river is so low and clear but still the odd ones coming out on the tidal it's the mitten crabs what are a problem for ever tying new rigs
@@MrTim207 hi mate, yeah that was a 2lb Perch I think... gutted, I tried bullying it in a little to hard when I saw the Pike n it lead to a hook pull 😔. Luckily the Perch got away unharmed tho .... made cool footage 😂... How's your fishing been mate? This Rain is very welcome rain ☔ 😊
Nice spot for perch! I’m in an area with amazing fishing. You can grab the lip of the perch gently to hold the head from shaking . Strong blighters . Cool video man
@@Sylakk Dave my friend that Pike was a total bitch 😂 . Cost me a stunning Perch 😔... think we should return n bag him out to let him know who's boss 😂

@@barryanthonywing4848 hi mate, it's the River Idle in Nottinghamshire.. mainly free fishing here... lots of private land tho so not too many spots to fish... Cheers for watching 👍🎣

Disagree with fishing like that on the bridge, stresses the fish out , poorly handled then chucks it back from height. Awful ! Would be banned from my club and rightly so.
It was only a small Perch n dropped from about 3ft... not sure what u mean about fishing from Bridges... all anglers do this..., Matt Hayes , Chris Yates Martin Bowler etc... think your being a little harsh pal... but your entitled to say what you feel so respected that 👍
