@@soultrader57fishingandmusi25 hi mate no this is the Dearne only just down the road from me, loads of Chub in here n a few nice Barbel.... the recent Barbel videos were on the Idle about 20mins from Doncaster, lots more Barbel in the Idle... yeah size18 are a bit small really 😂 was set up for maggots n I didn't bother changing.... you planning on any Chub sessions soon mate? 🎣

@@keithstandrin9861 no problem, if you follow the signs for the prison you go over a small hill on the road n there is a carpark on the right after the hill with access to the River 👍.. its fishing well this month plenty of Chub n Barbel coming out 😮👍🎣

It was only a small Perch n dropped from about 3ft... not sure what u mean about fishing from Bridges... all anglers do this..., Matt Hayes , Chris Yates Martin Bowler etc... think your being a little harsh pal... but your entitled to say what you feel so respected that 👍

Hi mate, it depends were u fish it mate, its a big long River... this stretch at Oughtibridge is free tho... deffo worth a visit mate... I live is Doncaster it day ticket there £6 a day.. cheers for watching pal 👍🎣

@@MrTim207 hi mate, yeah that was a 2lb Perch I think... gutted, I tried bullying it in a little to hard when I saw the Pike n it lead to a hook pull 😔. Luckily the Perch got away unharmed tho .... made cool footage 😂... How's your fishing been mate? This Rain is very welcome rain ☔ 😊

@yorkshireriverrover7199 thanks, think they were both within an hour of each other, the smaller of the 2 got itself in a snag for around 5mins, really made me work for it. I'm not sure either, I know the spot up in town can get really busy at weekends but lucky for me I work shifts so can get on midweek 9/10 times.

@@soultrader57fishingandmusi25 cheers mate, yeah I'm lucky to have these intricate smaller Rivers close to home, the Dearne, Don, Rother, Wharfe & Idle are all within 15miles of me... I've always wanted to fish the Ribble , hoping to come up that way for a day with Mark Elliott soon 😮👍

Mark has one of the same cards as me, the thing with the ribble is there's very little decent water available on club water. the lower end on the edge of Preston City is free. It holds good fish of all species but is busy and quiet dodgy at times! There's a day ticket section at the m6 junction, but very noisy. Ribchester village and a short private stretch above are the only other options. Marks ticket is Wigan DAA about £40 per season no waiting list so its very good value. I pay less as a pensioner 😊 Let me know if you're across here- would be good to meet! 👍
